^^ Cecily Strong is key player as well. I don't see Davidson making much of this chance, he seems limited in his roles. He never gets too excited and kind of plays the same low-key, stoner type role in every skit.

If it wasn't for the pressure to diversify Sasheer Zamata would be canned. Three years in and only thing she's known for is as a place holder for Michele Obama. Not sure I understand why they dumped Pharoah. The guy had some mad impression skills. No frickin' way they axe him but keep Kyle Mooney.
I would've dumped Moynihan over Killam. Same recurring characters. They get too settled once they've been on for a few years. Except for McKinnon & Strong, Lorne needs to clean house on the main cast.

Showtime announced that it had cast both Pharoah and Killam as the lead roles in their own pilots, set to debut in 2017, which presumably would have begun filming before season 42 of the NBC sketch show would have ended.
Pharoah will be playing the lead in White Famous, which is a half-hour comedy about a young black comedian "whose star is rising, forcing him to navigate the treacherous waters of maintaining his credibility as he begins to cross-over towards becoming 'white famous.'" The pilot was written by Tom Kapinos based on an idea by Jamie Foxx, and Foxx will play a recurring character.

Leslie Jones has been horribly violated by a hacker who got into her website and posted all of her identification, including driver's license and passport ... and naked photos.
Jones has been dogged by haters since "Ghostbusters" was released and she was the target of a slew of racist comments. Some people even sent her pictures of a gorilla.
The hacker who got into her accounts put a video of Harambe on the top of her website. The hacker gained access to Leslie's phone or iCloud and posted sexually explicit nude pics of the actress.

The Obama stuff they have done the past 8 years has been basically worthless anyway. For whatever reason they flat out refuse to make any jokes at his expense, so his presidency has been basically off-limits other than to act as a straight man to set up gags on other political figures...which seems an odd choice to make for a show of this nature that already has a lot of trouble coming up with fresh material.
