Gaaaaaahhh no! I really liked having JWS on the show. And great to see an original Flash reunion also.

Yeah, they finally let Shipp and Pays work together and then they kill him. Of course, that whole end scene had a someone is going to die vibe and the only killable character that would really matter to Barry was Shipp.

DoppleLaurel is still alive to use later.

Wow! The episode started out with a bang with the whole Metapocalypse and ended with a bigger bang, Zoom going after Barry's heart. What a wild ride.

I liked Cisco and Caitlyn trying to go all Vibe and Killer Frost. The whole "dopplegangers are opposite handed" thing was just silly though.

Lastly, I think despite the poor development of Wally, his character might turn out alright. He had some solid moments tonight.

I bet Black Siren becomes a character on Legends of Tomorrow. I have been liking Wally more these past few episodes.

If the writers on Flash want to get Wally West right, they need to watch Young Justice instead of bringing in the contrived New 52 version of the character. Everyone I talk to wants this version of West dead already.

Yeah, I was hoping Earth 2 Laurel would be a hero.

And Reverb.

I still think the man in the mask is the real Jay Garrick and will be played by Shipp. Maybe the actor is not done yet.

Nooooo!! Not Barry's Dad.

Liked Black Siren. I hope that will be a way to keep Katie Cassidy around.

Well, if they just start using time-travel to fix everything, there won't be much in the way of stakes.

I know. It was just more of a...you have done this or that a few times before. However when that happens he tends to see himself before something happens.

That would be creepy... since we know that Barry's mother's maiden name was Garrick.

The man in the mask must be related to Barry. If not Henry, who could it be?

hanshotfirst1138 05-18-16 07:40 PM

I think that the guy in the iron mask was the real Jay Garrick. That's what he kept attempting to communicate to Barry and Jesse.

What if it was Barry and Iris's son from the future? *mind blown*

Barry's father said my mothers maiden name was Garrick. I took that he was referring to Barry's grandma. That is what I remembered anyway.

Okay, that makes sense then. My bad.

Oh, and at end of this episode I was convinced it was the finale... But we've got one more next week. ;)

Re: The Flash (S2E22) -- "Invincible" -- 5/17/16

Why couldn't it have been Iris? :(

I felt like something was amiss with Henry based on the acting and the way they framed the Henry/Barry conversation in the hall. Likewise, I felt something was off when they just up and brought in another doctor. Maybe she'll be the year 3 replacement for coma Harry?

I wonder if Earth-2 getting destroyed is multiverse storyline.

Yes, my point is that Henry Allen and Jay Garricl are dopplegangers with different names. Like maybe on Earth 2 grandma Garrick got knocked up by Henry Allen's dad but didn't marry him and take his name like she did on Earth 1. I know this is a bad example because we now know it's untrue, but there was a prior precedent of dopplegangers having different names, ie Garrick/Zoloman.

Anyway, this is all just theory. I haven't seen anything to confirm this.

Edit: my theory doesn't account for why Wells wouldn't have heard of another Flash/Jay Garrick prior to Zoom's impersonation, so I'm probably way off.
