Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trains with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). In King's Landing, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) advises Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman). Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night's Watch stands behind Thorne (Owen Teale). Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) entertains other proposals.

Will this episode be the one where Jon Snow opens his eyes?

I know it's cold up there at Castle Black, but his body's going to start getting gamey before long.

Just watched it, Jon Snow turns into a werewolf and bits all the black brothers. I mean the literal black brothers because he is a racist. Ghost is also a racist that is why he is called ghost. The white walkers, also racist, attack the wall and kill everybody. Now there are a a bunch of racist on the wall hunting the black brothers but they give up because they forgot there is only one black guy on the show and he isn't there and doesn't have any brothers. So they all go home.

While all that is happening the red woman sleeps and wakes up as all the racist are leaving. She realizes being old sucks so uses her magic to turn young again. She finds Jon and tells him to stop being so racist. Jon agrees and they live happily ever after the end.

Yeah only two episodes this season.

Looking forward to seeing Balon (and presumably Yara) again.

I am hoping that this is the episode where Hot Pie makes his comeback. Hot Pie is the hero that Westeros needs.

So HBO has already pushed After the Thrones into less prominence on its schedule. While it will be available on HBO Go/Now at 3:00am tomorrow morning, it isn't actually airing until early Tuesday morning and then on HBO East. Last week it aired at 10:00pm on Monday night and on the main HBO channel.

I watched the first one and it was fucking awful. It as basically a youtube vodcast that recapped the events of the episode. The hosts were boring, the guests (other vloggers?) were boring. Minimal behind-the-scenes stuff. Zero insight into anything. Zero entertainment value.

I'll be skipping the rest of these.

I'll watch the second one I think. If the second one is still bad, I'll probably pass on the rest. My guess is that HBO has heard the largely negative responses to the first episode and will have a better product this week. Probably not great yet, but better.

So that just happened :)

Spoiler:
Nice to see Jon Snow's comeback.. although it wasn't much of a secret. Overall.. I enjoyed this episode more than last week. Lots going on.. I'm not crying for Balon.

Too bad, I was kind of rooting for the:

Spoiler:
R+L=J theory playing out and Snow walking out of his funeral pyre alive. I suppose R+L=J could still be true, however.

Glad to see that we finally got around to the third leech in the fire.

Look forward to more Bran "flashbacks". I'd love to see the tournament at Harrenhal.

Good ep. The only thing I think we could have done without was Ramsay dispatching of Lady Bolton and her son. It's been well established that he's (literally) a sadistic bastard. They could have just had her walk into the tunnel and we heard the dogs attack as Ramsay walks away.

Looking forward to more flashbacks as well. I'm hoping we get some of Robert's Rebellion.

In the preview for next week, it looked like they
Spoiler:
showed a Tower of Joy flashback which could prove R+L=J

Did they recast Theon's father, or maybe I'm confusing him w the Harry Potter actor? (responsible for the Red Wedding)
