I thought "playing" an idol means you tell Jeff, "I am playing an idol" then you hand the idol over to Jeff so it can't be used again. Handing it over to someone just means that person has an idol and it's still in play.

It wasn't during challenges.
Though it was a little complicated in that clues were discovered leading to a locked box containing the idol. Contestants had to use a long pole to knock the key from a tree in order to get the idol out of the box. That's what I remember, but it's been a few weeks, so I might be off on parts of it.
Tai got his on his own. There were several going after another idol, with Jason reaching the key first when it was knocked out of the tree.

Yup. Difference being Super Idol can be played after the votes are read. Haven't seen anything that states if these unique idol pieces would have been put out there again and have Super Idol powers for a second time.

As long as you can obtain two of the idols, I don't see why you couldn't have Super Idol powers a second time.

We may never know. But I think it's possible they wouldn't go there because the surprise factor would be gone if they were used that way the first time. Which is what was being discussed. Not using them individually.
As long as you can obtain two of the idols, I don't see why you couldn't have Super Idol powers a second time.

Julia keeps getting more attractive every week. Earlier in the season I was distracted by Anna and her large charms, but Julia is definitely a cutie.
