No replies? I guess people don't watch shows the night they air anymore. The arguments for not shooting Per Degaton were BS.

I liked the episode but it had some odd things. Palmer seems to think he will never go back to his own time. For some reason going back to his own time and having a baby was never a option. Instead he thought he had to have had a kid before leaving his time period.
I also think it is odd that they haven't run into a future Kendra or a future version of hawkman. Or even a past version of them. They should exist in all time periods. I know they could be any age but I think the show would have explored this by name. I did like the battle scenes and the look of the city. The drama over the kid was expected but I liked it. I wish they did more Kaylee from firefly. Always nice to see firefly people. |

Wow, Firestorm in 2 straight episodes. ;)
I laughed when Ray introduced himself as Lecter, Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Nice to see Jewel Staite again. I'm really not feeling Ray and Kendra as a couple. Surprised that they brought Hawkman back, but only in flashbacks. The son in the flashback, that was Dr. Boardman from the Pilot right? I remember in the Pilot that guy said he was Kendra's son. Looks like next week we will be seeing another DC character (was mentioned in a previous thread) |

I watch but with so many shows in this house, I have to play catch up a lot.
I was about 70/30 on this episode. I liked the small flashback showing us Dr. Boardman as a child. Thought that was neat. I wasn't too happy with the somewhat quick resolve between Snart and Rory. The action scenes once again were fantastic. Cool seeing the future ATOM tech and finding out it was his brother  but kinda sad as it seems Ray cant seem to catch a break in being part of much of anything. |

Unfortunately, this is one of the more "beaten-to-death" storylines of Science Fiction and they didn't do anything new with it.
Next week, a holodeck adventure in the wild, wild, west! Yee-haw! |

I want them to introduce Jean Loring. That would be better than this Hawkgirl romance for the Atom. He's always going to play second fiddle to Hawkman with her.
Like others said, the moral dilemma about killing the kid has been handled better and with more depth elsewhere. It's tough having a recurring television character kill off a kid, no matter how evil they grow up to be. |

Yeah, nice of them to leave that out ... unless they deal with it in next few episodes.

Good action scenes in this episode, they are raising the bar with the FX
Story needs some tidying up |

Always liked the name Per Dagaton. Dunno why. It just sounds cool.
it was a decent ep. This season's storyline hinges so much on Hawkgirl getting her shit together to face off with Vandal. She's a mess so far. |
