Yet. . .

Because every season is the same. Run, find shelter, shelter sucks, run again.

I've started watching episodes in FFWD and feel like I miss nothing.

Then Daryl & Rosita sneak up on the camp and get caught from behind. You would think everyone would be extra careful after killing a bunch of the members, of a well armed group, that knows where they are.

I think that is the theme of the season is that they are just being careless at this point, and its going to come back and bite them in the ass in the finale next week.

They're so hell bent on either getting revenge (Darryl), conflicting emotions (Carol), or all of the pre-emptive stuff (Rick) that all of their problems this year is by their own creation in alot of ways.

The one thing I read about the Finale in Entertainment Weekly:

Spoiler:
Andrew Lincoln said he didn't want to come to work to shoot that episode he was so depressed after reading the script.

They say the same shit every finale.

I believe that the baby is dead. Since they made a point of showing the bruises on Maggie's lower back/side, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that the baby died during the events when she was captured.

Now I keep waiting for an arrow come flying in every time a character has to stop and have a long-winded speech.

I think one of the points of this season is to show that the world is bigger than they thought it was. Glen said it himself. Yes Daryl is not thinking straight, hell bent on revenge, and everyone is acting careless. They are too cocky because they think they are the strongest out there and there's no one left to oppose them. But they're dead wrong and they're about to find that out.

That's what I was thinking. Plus the show can't try to foist another baby into the cast (though Judith must be out on patrols or something).

Yeah, i'm glad if they decided to write out Maggie's baby that way. Everyone already ignores Judith, so adding another would would be stupid.

I agree as having a baby in these types of shows is more of a nuisance for the story and the characters sometimes. Maggie having a miscarriage adds some drama for an episode and then we can all move on.

Maggie's miscarriage insures that Maggie survives the season finale!

Although she's still being criminally underused.

I don't use Twitter that often, but I tweeted a band after a concert so I checked early Sunday evening. I shut it down as soon as I saw people in earlier time zones losing their shit about Darrell.

No way anything really happens to him unless they want to lose 75% of their audience.

I could go along with Carol breaking down and leaving, but everyone else leaving and chasing was really annoying to me. :brickwl2: I hope next week's episode will be worth the buildup, but I'm not super optimistic.

I don't think you could do that with the mass of a staff. Surely the skull would crush, before that would happen?

Regarding the baby, my guess was that it did die in the womb, and is trying to eat from within. How far along is she supposed to be?

People saying the baby died = Maggie safe seems silly.
If everyone is already infected, then so would the baby.
So dead baby = zombie womb baby by this logic.
If that's the case, I don't see Maggie surviving.

many conditions/disease do not cross the placental barrier.

I thought so too.

Alexandria is expecting an attack at any time, yet Glenn, Michone and Rosita leave to go after Daryl. And after finding out they're gone, Rick and Morgan still decide to leave to look for Carol for whatever reason - further crippling the defence at Alexandria. Who's left to fight? Sasha, Abraham, a pregnant Maggie, a half-blind teenager Carl and a bunch of people will very little experience at killing walkers and NO experience killing humans. Excellent idea.

So again the bad guys don't immediately kill the good guys - just tie them up and eventually it'll cost them their lives when they escape. Dwight tried to kill him before - why let him live now? Try to get some cross-bow lessons from him?

I was able to pause it right as Dwight shoots and impact of the bullet. He definitely does not shoot him in the head, looks like the shoulder/upper pec area.

Heath and Tara are gone too. Aaron's presumably around. Jesus might be at Hilltop.

You guys are really disappointing me ...

DVD Josh left out the frames of Daryl rolling under the dumpster. :(

No mention of the Maggie/Glenn shower scene?

This 1/2 season has been a pretty solid run, however the under use of a number of characters has been almost criminal.

Off to start the Season Finale Walking Dead Pool Poll thread ...

I hadn't considered it until this thread, but a zombie baby eating its way out of Maggie would be a pretty incredible way for Maggie to go. I still like her character, even with her having so little to do, but that would be something to see.

How is a zombie baby supposed to eat its way out of the mother without teeth?
