Watching this w/ the wife. It's put me to sleep more than once.
The lead actress's eyes are getting on my nerves, as are some of the expressions she makes.
I didn't know that she is the wife of Alan Ruck, who guest-starred in the second or third ep.

Count me as another one who gave this show a shot but didn't stick with it. I wouldn't call it terrible, but it just didn't give me enough to feel it warranted me continuing to watch it.

Hmmm, was wondering about this show. It seems it's a bust.
Peter Krause seems to be the Shelly Long for this generation...a show killer.

I'm most distracted by the bad face job Enos had. Should've left it alone. Thankfully not as horrible as Marcia Cross on Quantico.

According to TV Line, "The Catch" is returning, but as an (almost) entirely different show. According to EP Alan Heinberg: The show really is a romantic comedy at its heart and we embraced it.
To that end, a fundamental element of the series the cases of the week have been overhauled. I was realizing that these cases were not allowing me to spend as much time getting to know the characters as I really wanted to, and they were crowding out some of the soap [opera] I wanted to do, Heinberg explained.
Peter Krause characterized the quasi-Season 2 reboot thusly: Its an adult Scooby-Doo sex farce.

Meh, I don't see this doing any better after a reboot. Dead before it airs, IMO.

Probably true. Most shows don't survive when they're brought back like this, and I just don't find the leads compelling, particularly for this "Lite" version. Careful "slotting" may be it's only hope.
