It's like watching a prequel series to Criminal Minds but so much better. I'm glad there will be a 2nd season.

while i like the 1st episode, and the cinematic feel of it, some of the acting was fucking terrible. i mean, like truly terrible. it got better as it went along, but the lead was extremely wooden in certain scenes. sort of took me out of it for a second. i'll keep watching because i loved the book and the subject matter.

Nah, the lead is fine, he's just a boy scout. He was the main lead in that HBO show Looking. He's purposely "green" in Mindhunter.

it has nothing to do with how he is playing the character. it's his line delivery. sometimes it's great (opening scene), sometimes it is hilariously bad (bar scene, after sex scene). there are many of them. like i said, it got better as it went along, but it really was awkward for the 1st half.

It's supposed to be awkward but yeah it's almost strange awkward. The other episodes iron out a happy medium for it.

I'm about halfway through this and really enjoying it. I'm not typically a fan of this genre, but this series doesn't feel like a typical police/serial killer genre show.

I almost never binge watch shows but I'm burning through this one at a pretty steady clip. I appreciate the fact that the characters are portrayed as intelligent and open to new ideas and that there isn't a stereotypical bad boss trying to block their efforts.

The best show I’ve seen in a few years. Love that it was renewed for a second season. Hopefully the second season comes out same time next year.

Slowly making my way through this, I do have to say the little smile they each had at the end of episode 4 was a nice bit of brightness and hope considering how bleak the rest of it is.

Just wrapped it up and loved it from start to finish. The period details are great, the serial killers have all been fantastic, loved seeing Anna Torv again post-Fringe and it’s a great vehicle for Jonathan Groff. I saw him onstage in New York a few years ago and he’s simply fantastic.
Bring on Season 2!

Finished episode 2. Wow, what a world of difference. Any complaint I had, I no longer have. Acting was great.

Pretty good show. I'm slowly moving away from watching TV because you have to just about drown in toxic shit to find a pearl, and it's just not worth it anymore.
I gotta say, though, Cameron Britton as Edmund Kemper is chilling. It's also a breath of fresh air that the most disturbing aspects of Mindhunter is the dialogue, rather than graphic violence.
Am I the only one that yelled at Wendy to stop going down to the fucking laundry room? They got me there, I will admit. I tensed up every time.

I'm also about half through and I absolutely love the soundtrack.
I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back and watch the beginning of episode 1 after I finish this season.

I get what Deftones was initially saying about the lead. He does, at times, remind me of Wesley/Cary Elwes from Princess Bride.

Half way through and this is really some good TV right here. Wow. Would have finished it yesterday if it wasn't for football.

Love this show - was worried while watching the first episode because the acting and dialogue was just too superficial for me bu that leveled off during the second episode.

Yeah the pilot episode lacked something, I almost gave up on the show after the first episode but was glad I stayed with it. Definitely more solid and the series finds its rhythm as it goes along.
