May as well have replaced Abraham's fu-man-chu with a bull's eye. Other than the heavy handedness, pretty good episode.

I did get a kick out of Darryl and Michonne running around sleeveless while Rick and Abraham wore fur-lined coats.

Shouldn't they be fairly cleaned up having just come from "civilized" Alexandria? Instead they show up looking as if they were still on the road.

I've liked the past two episodes more than anything I've liked the past three seasons. I kept thinking to myself when Rick showed up at that compound, "How long before he destroys this stable community?"

Does anyone else want Carl to get a haircut everytime he comes on the screen? It has bugged me for most of this season. He's taken the shaggy dog doo a bit too far.

Once again, stupidity reigns. How Rick didn't see that giant hole in the muddy road blows my mind. Oh, and he didnt know he was there? They were what - 100 feet from the gate?

Yeah that was just a silly, inconsequential scene. I'm sure it was put in to make the audience think something was wrong and they would be sitting ducks for someone (hilltop or negan). But it didn't even build suspense that well.

I wonder what the necklace payoff will be - if any. Will Rosita be angry about it? Will Sasha find it and wear it - putting Abraham between two angry women? It also makes no sense how dirty they were - maybe they had to push the RV and got that way?

As a comic reader I was very happy that they did not drag out the group seeing Hilltop. I was thinking that maybe they would drag out Jesus trying to convince them to go. Thought it would be bigger but maybe there is more behind the house. I myself really enjoyed this part in the books. Once their world opened up there was so much material. Hopefully TV can handle the ever growing cast.

I like how they lined up 3 choices for who bites it by giving at least 1 significant nod in that direction to each of those characters. Really setting up the mood.

My money is on the outside 4th pick of Michonne because she's the only black person going and historically that doesn't end up too well.
