For anybody that missed the quick text that said it was 1982, it didn't help that they didn't even attempt to make the actor look younger than the character he plays during the 1994 scenes. Wouldn't be surprised if they also didn't make sure the surrounding area was accurate to 1982.
Sometimes I wonder just how far the producers are actively trying to direct the audience that he is guilty and wanting us to love or hate characters rather than keep everything even and unbiased. I can't imagine too many people will think much of any of the defense attorneys after this show.

It opened with a title that said "1982". The Vainly Fair fact checking article said the incident happened in 1980 with his son and daughter, not two girls in the car.

Forgot to post this last week. The episode was listed as 1:15 long but our recording ended right around the 1 hour mark. Did we miss anything worth knowing about in that last 10 min before watching this week's episode?

I think that goes for just about the whole cast. All could be playing it one way or the other.
Maybe I missed an article or comment (or forgot it since), but I don't think anybody was trying to ever say it was planned. Seemed like the evidence always made it clear he freaked out and killed them in yet another rage.

You missed the scene where Kardashian talked OJ into making Cochran lead attorney. There was a meeting where OJ said on the phone that Johnnie was taking over for Shapiro. Then they enter the courtroom and OJ saw Darden on the other side with Clark and said something like...When did they get a black guy?

Thx. Not sure why DTV didn't pick up on it. The recording says it's 1:15 long but it just ended early.

I thought there was a theory that the reason OJ asked Kato Kaelin to go to McDonald's that night was to establish an alibi. Kato testified that OJ had never hung out with him before, he was silent all the way there, hurriedly ate his food, then dropped him off back at Rockingham but made sort of a deal about him seeing him go back into the house.

This is a fantastic show. Courtney Vance is as smooth as silk as Johnny.

Gooding looks and sounds nothing like OJ and is too small
Travolta as Shapiro? Come on
Vance looks and sounds nothing like Cochran
Lane is ok as Bailey, nothing great.
This board has seriously objected to Connie Britton as Resnick.
The actor playing Fuhrman looks and talks nothing like him, and his presence is miniscule.
I think they pooched the casting far more than they nailed it.

Totally disagree. The casting has been abysmal. The only ones they got right were Garcetti, Clark, Goldman and Darden. Scwimmer is ok.

You're dead wrong about Vance. He's amazing
You're right about Cuba Gooding Jr though. He's such an odd choice. He looks and acts nothing like OJ. I keep thinking about that casting -- they had enough star power elsewhere that they didn't need a "name" in the OJ role. I guess the producers figured that the viewer wouldn't properly understand how odd it was having a big star like OJ on trial for murder if they had an unknown in the role? Perhaps that's it, but you just know they could have found somebody at least recognizable to play the role. I mean Will Smith didn't really look like Muhammad Ali, but it was close enough you could buy it. This is a complete miss in every conceivable way (besides race and gender).
