Very interesting stuff. Looks like the aliens had been planning this for a while - prepared who would lead what area as well as taking out (?) the core earth folk. Had the walls in orbit (?). Etc.

I liked this but am shocked they decided to make the premiere 90% flashback - it didn't instill faith in me that they have a GREAT story planned for this year..... if it had been like 4th ep back I'd have probably enjoyed it more.

kind of a letdown in the second episode. i am liking the oldest son's plot now in the work camp more than anything else.

The second episode could have been boiled down to the last ten minutes. They are really starting to drag out major plot reveals.
Did anyone get a sense of what her contact with that alien thing showed?

Last week was good. Loved seeing the climbers go splat. This week was average, but I love that the kid is now going to be disruptive to the aliens. Glad they got rid of that horrible wig.

^^ Not mentioned in the article, but they are moving production from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
Apparently, the show was not one of the lucky shows to receive a California tax credit, so they have to leave for Canada. That's got to suck for the LA-based crew on this series.
The season finale airs this Thursday. A little surprised this thread has been dead for almost 2 months.

Re: Colony (USA) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 1/12/17
slow moving show with out much to really talk about. I like the show/cast but it's a terrible stand around the water cooler sort of show.
It's plays out pretty much like a WWII resistance story but of course with aliens we never see but that's the bulk of the story lines. Need to get this, need to find that family member. Are we safe here? Where is my son?
It also seems like every season ends with at least hinting about leaving the block so clearly the show runners figured it would not stay in Cal for it's entire run.

Liked the (season) finale. So, are the aliens either a) really small, b) AIs or c) not even there?
Any thoughts on Synder's red button?

It was ok. You can see they are trimming the cast for the move. The whole brain replacement thing seemed to imply that the aliens are robots or those are AI stand ins.
The Snyder thing seemed like a double cross, but could also be something to do with his daughter. My guess is a double cross.

I still can't figure out why the Bowmans tolerate a collaborator and True Believer like Lindsey tutoring their daughter.

Interesting ep. Figured the proxy wouldn't stay good. Could quite tell anything about the alien's physical form from that quick glimpse ...

He wasn't good at end of last year. They basically hinted he was going along with them so he could eventually turn them in. Pretty sure they showed his beacon thing at the end of last season.

So Broussard is running a few weeks behind everybody else? At first I thought that was happening simultaneously with the A storyline but the destroyed camp doesn’t make sense otherwise. I assume that weasel Snyder had something to do with its destruction.

Yeah that was revelation at end. He is behind some amount of time.

I'm not sure Snyder had anything to do with the destruction of the camp. He went in the woods to activate the beacon he buried but he coudn't find it and got caught. They figured out what he was doing, didn't take any chances, destroyed the camp (whatever evidence they had) and moved somewhere else. I think a train was mentionned.
