Given Snyder's backstory as a washed-up bureaucrat from Stanford I wonder where this politically astute ruthless cutthroat Snyder came from.

That Resistance leader was such a dunce he deserved to die. Just not the rest of the settlement along with him.

He is a weasel that wants to stay alive. He has shown that to be true since the beginning.

Charlie's death was surprising, but honestly, for the betterment of the show. Kids just drag the show down.

Charlie's death was an ouch.

When Broussard appears (weeks) later, did they show any bodies? I didn't recall and wondered if the Occupation cleaned them up/buried/burned them?

No, it was all cleaned up.

If they've already instantly identified Will Bowman why are they going through the charade of the "assignment" algorithm rather than capturing him as a wanted fugitive?

Looks like a similar eval to what Wayne Brady was overseeing in the beginning. Perhaps they have a role for him prepared (related to drones not zapping him in earlier episodes) ...

Ah Proxy Snyder, how soon we revert to true form.

Yeah, since Will seems to be on a "do not kill" list, the Hosts must have a plan for him. Which is probably why he hasn't been arrested/locked up yet.

Probably not to spook him. They obviously have a plan for him, since he has never been killed by any drones.

over all pretty good season so far. I'm truly shocked how much I have enjoyed watching a show about an alien invasion, that never really shows any aliens.

screen shot of the wall, being I just thought this was a cool CGI image.

What the fuck is this? So we get some sort of time jump in their new lives, with zero context to it all. This felt like a completely different show and it was awful.

I was just gonna come here and say this show has weird time jumps.

Boring episode but I think it was just a setup for things to come in that colony. Good to see Broussard.

Rather odd that Will thinks his wife has lost her resistance mojo but then doesn’t tell her about his investigation into the missing people. That would have gotten her attention, instead he’s letting his marriage fail. In my opinion this is terrible writing to manufacture fake drama.

Yeah, but since she figured out what happens to people in that colony, I bet that spat with Will is pretty much over and she's gonna go back to resistance mode. Plus, it's not uncommon for Will to do stuff/look for people secretly.

It's been pretty much established, -purposely or not, -over the three seasons that The Bowmans have a terrible marriage, don't communicate well, and often work at cross-purposes. They're resentful, and think each has the higher moral ground over the other.

They also obviously have never been able to process the murder of their son right in front of them. That's gonna put a stress on a marriage of actual healthy people (which they are not) even when the world isn't under alien occupation.

Glad I'm not the only one who was confused.

And I was actually liking this season.

This might be the most schizophrenic show ever. Started season good, got horrible, now this last episode was great. I'm really digging the Kines stuff about how he is secretly amassing technology and an army to fight back.

Will walking around in daylight with weapons and blood on his clothes during a citywide curfew isn’t very smart.

Yup, great episode. But this show is definitely bipolar.

The jarring switch to Vancouver (said to be necessitated by a loss of tax credits) didn't help.

So we would have gotten the alien war next season. Would have been cool.
