The Real World: Go Big or Go Home (MTV) -- Premieres 3/17/16

This is the true story of seven strangers picked to live in a house, work together, and have their identities revealed exclusively by EW, along with the premiere date and the HUGE twist behind the upcoming 31st season of The Real World.
Mark your calendars: The season, which returns to Las Vegas for the third time in the franchise’s lengthy history, will premiere on Thursday, March 17 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV. The season’s title? The Real World: Go Big or Go Home. (More on that later.)
But first, meet the cast who will inherit the swanky top suite at the Gold Spike Hotel: The girls (from left to right) are Jenna (Easley, South Carolina), Sabrina (Topsfield, Massachusetts), CeeJai (Powder Springs, Georgia), and Kailah (West Palm Beach, Florida).

And the guys (from left to right) are Dione (Dennisport, Massachusetts), Chris (New York, New York), and Dean (Studio City, California).

But don’t get too attached to any of the roommates. Thanks to this year’s big twist, they might not stick around too long: Missions will test the cast’s grit throughout the season, and if a housemate can’t complete the task, they’ll be booted from the house and replaced.
Some missions will be designed for the whole group, while others will specifically test individual cast members and force them to confront emotional moments from their past and dabble in their dreams. A brief sampling of the challenges they’ll confront? An extreme jump from a hot air balloon, an onstage performance at a strip club, and a face-to-face meeting between an adoptive child and their birth mother. So, you know, the usual.
So, it looks like the show is almost like Road Rules or something... they've pretty much ruined everything about the original idea of the show.

I would love to see a Road Rules revival, but it'll probably never happen. I think the ratings were terrible. This is also probably the least attractive cast that they have ever had... Hopefully they look better in motion than in still photos. I'll be watching. I haven't miss a season in a long time.

It sounds like they're screening future Challenge players with this.
I don't like it but let's be honest, the old format was getting stale too. Trying new things is interesting but they should really stop calling it Real World. Let the title die with what dignity it has left and call this something else.

Call it The Real Road... this concept is shite but I might give it a watch. The 2nd girl has Eugene Levy's eyebrows - and that's not a good thing.

I really wish they would do a Real World: Nashville sometime, but then I'd have to deal with the cast being in my city....

This has to be one of the least attractive casts I can remember. They look like the night shift at a Taco Bell.

You guys sound like the focus testers that turned The Real World into garbage after the first few seasons.

I've lived in Vegas for well over a decade and have never even heard of the Gold Spike, let alone seen it. Looks like a total dump in the crappier part of the hotel district Downtown. There aren't even pictures of the hotel readily accessible on the hotel's website. Looks like they must be working on a shoestring budget. Aren't too many hot nightclubs Downtown.
Edit : Just happened to drive past the Gold Spike last night downtown. What a dump. Maybe they fixed up the Penthouse to look all fancy and cool, but there's no way the exterior shots won't look cheesy. Yeesh, they must have gone way down the list of locations before they settled on that shithole.

I've been hate watching TRW for years now. Just caught last nights episode. The dude with the long hair can pass for Johnny Bananas twin brother. They even talk alike.
When the buck-toothed southern girl started talking about race, I literally cringed. Hate to see white people make themselves look more racist then people already think we are. I can't believe she actually called them 'colored' right to their faces.

I knew there was going to be some racial tension when they showed the southern girl's audition video and she had a confederate flag near her mailbox.
Being from California myself (diverse state of course; I'm Asian), it's crazy to think that parts of the US still lives in that mentality. Though when my sister moved to North Carolina for a job, she was shocked to see people drive around with confederate flags attached to their trucks and stuff like that. And this was many years before all the confederate flag news stories from last year.

What's really funny is that I grew up in Kansas, and lots of people from Kansas have them on their cars and flying on their houses. I have family members that fly confederate flags even though my family has no connection to the Civil War. In fact, the side of my family who does display those flags only came to the US in the 1890s, well after the Civil War and they never lived in the south.
But the intersting thing is that Kansas started the Civil War when they rejected slavery through popular vote.
I think most of them started flying the flags after Obama was elected. Read into that what you will.

This season has been ok so far. It's kind of sad that only 2 of the female cast members are attractive and the best looking one is kind of a racist....

Really? I think the racist one is kind of busted if you looked closely. The one that just banged Bananas Jr. I think is the best looking.

Jenna has a nicer curves than Kailah and Kaliah just got a full arm tattoo. I'm not a fan of tattoos....

On second glance it could be a temporary Henna tattoo, but I'm not sure....

Yeah Kaliah is the only hot one to me. There was a quick shot of the shorter blonde girl without makeup and her face was very meh. The other girl looks like a tranny and can't seem to get her hair/eyebrow colors right.

I enjoyed the March 31st episode.
I think I did that exact ATV tour a couple years ago while in Vegas. It was a pretty good 1.5 - 2 hour excursion.
I also stayed at the SLS hotel when I was there, which is where they filmed that bday party scene. That hotel was ok. Location sucks.
The stripper flashback scene was hilarious. She acts like she was getting murdered haha

She acts as if she was raped. I mean seriously wtf is wrong with her. Funny how all the roommates are rght and it's her joke of a relationship with that loser guy that's the problem. Not that she got a totally innocent fun lap dance while out with friends.

Have to agree with this. At first I thought the southern girl was kind of cute. But this last ep she had some extensive closeups. In the face she looks like a chipmunk.
