I thought it was somehow James March. When they were all having that meeting together, March mentioned to Dally Sally about what happened the last time she disobeyed him. Right after that, there was a quick flash to that guy. I figured that might have meant it was some kind of manifestation of March.

I loved during the meeting when Sally made the comment about Colonel Sanders and March replied that he didn't know her military friend ...

When Liz died, part of me hoped that in his ghost form he would actually be a woman, and they would surprise us with Jessica Lange playing that role.

Still wondering who played Scarlet as an adult. I'm not able to find anything on the sites with write up about the finale. She seemed familiar, but it went by so quickly it was tough to place her.

I was also wondering if my DVR cutoff early. It didn't feel like there was anything to let us know it was over.
This was the best AHS season.

She was played by Nicole Tompkins. I couldnt place anything on her imdb credits, but maybe you can.

Good season, but the only thing the bugged me was the recycling of actors within the season. I get that they use the same actors in different roles for each season. But having Tristan/Valentino use the same actor & Sarah Paulson as the medium & the '94 junkie just seems unnecessary. This show is borderline incoherent anyway, but this made it feel more like an SNL sketch than AHS.

I don't understand why Sarah Paulson played the psychic at all. Maybe a future season will show some connection between her characters. Naomi Grossman would've been a more interesting choice for the psychic.

Finn Wittrock pulled a double duty this season because Tristan was supposed to resemble Valentino.
The psychic Sarah Paulson played was the same character she played in season one.

While watching, I had totally forgotten Paulson was in season 1 and assumed she was playing her witch character from Coven.

When it comes to cross overs, they really put themselves in a bad place when they keep using the same actors over and over. I'm glad they still write them in even though it can end up having the same person play two characters within the same season. The LA setting allowed them to seem natural this season.

The comment about sending Scarlett to the Thacher School makes me wonder if season six will be set in a boarding school. Lots of possibilities there.

'Freak Show' in my opinion still had the best ending.
ranking: Asylum -> Freak Show -> Murder House -> Hotel -> Coven

Sorry if this has brought up before: Sally died near but outside the hotel and she's stuck there. John dies in front of the hotel and isn't stuck there?

I think someone made the argument that the alley Sally died on was part of the property, and John died on the street, which is public property.

^you're confusing a couple of characters.
Wes Bentley's character (John) wanted to die in the hotel, so he could be with his family.
The guy who did NOT want to die in the hotel and was dragged to the street to die was Donovan (Matthew Bomer), the son of Iris (Kathy Bates) and love interest of The Countess.
