Yay for Morricone. Although I'm pretty sure he won a Golden Globe before despite what QT said in his acceptance speech.

Huh? Hateful Eight's screenplay had nothing on Steve Jobs, it was surprisingly weak for Tarantino but great actors and direction worked wonders.

3 or 4 episodes before I realized I didn't understand what I was watching.

Is it just me or is this really weirdly shot and with odd audio?

It ticks up, but I guess if you didn't like the pilot it could be problematic. The early on detox episode was horribly placed.

Is Hanks really all gray now? I know he just finished shooting Sully and had to change his look a little.

That was a cool little tribute to Denzel Washington

RichC2 01-10-16 09:12 PM

Re: The 73rd Golden Globe Awards (NBC) -- 1/10/16

Its just weird seeing Denzel and Hanks as 60 year olds. (Well, 61 and 59)

Sure it did. The only thing I give props to Steve Jobs for is Fassbender. Everything else not so much. At least not compared to the script of H8.

 Yeah baby Cookie Lyon wins!!

Taraji's natural hair looks pretty good. Hate a lot of those goofy wigs she wears on the show.

Alejandro won for The Revenant.

Re: The 73rd Golden Globe Awards (NBC) -- 1/10/16

Lawrence won, not a huge shocker but still odd considering how slammed Joy was. She spent 30 seconds fellating David O Russell on stage. This was her third win.

I wish it would have panned onto Lily Tomlin who I think hates David O Russell.

I didn't know they made dresses to make women look like they had saggy boobs. TIL.

So The Martian won best comedy

Did Ridley Scott say Jessica "Christin" or did I hear wrong?

I kind of love Ridley Scott, he's obviously had a few

The Hollywood Foreign Press must have been smoking some good stuff if they thought The Martian deserved a comedy nomination.

I like how Ridley Scott said..."The Martian a comedy?....Uhhhh" But, he's still happy to take the award.

Yeah, he's never had a Golden Globe or Oscar win. He was happy to take what he could get.

Brie Larson

No way was the Martian considered a comedy. A musical, maybe, but not a comedy.
