Anyone looking forward to this? Has TBS had any original programming before, or is this the first?
I think it looks pretty funny, and I like Rashida Jones, so I'll give it a shot. It could just as easily be terrible though...

Marketing-wise, I think airing the whole season in one day is a terrible idea. It pretty much guarantees that every viewer will DVR it and skip the commercials.

I like everyone involved in this show. The ads give me a Police Squad/Naked Gun/Airplane vibe, but I agree that airing this show as a 25 hour marathon is a little risky.

I saw the promos a few weeks ago when I watching some on TBS. The show has already been renewed for a second season. I agree with others, a 25 hour marathon is risky.
Rashida's real life parents played Angie's parents in the pilot. I hope they are better than Aziz Ansari's parents. Maybe a Mod Squad reference will be dropped.

Just saw another commercial for this show and it said the whole 25-hour event will be commercial-free.
Geez...I'm not even sure what hours I'm supposed to record haha

I like Rashida and I am kind of interested in this, but there's no way I can DVR the entire season all at once.
I might try this on demand or via re-airs.

The schedule appeared on my DVR guide and fortunately, the recording schedule is more manageable than we originally thought.
10 episodes, approximately 25 minutes each. Commercial free.
Starts Sunday (Jan 17), 9 pm to 1:20 am. All other episodes on the schedule are just repeats of this first season.

People actually thought they were going to play a continuous 25 hour block of 50 different episodes?

Remember, premieres tonight on TBS
The entire 10 episode 1st season will air tonight. Commercial free. Set your DVR's, since most of you probably won't be watching this tonight. New episodes will air from 9pm ET to 1:30am ET

Comcast has this available on demand right now, so you could probably catch it early. I'm watching it now and absolutely love it. It's one of those that'll require multiple viewings to catch all of the subtleties.

Imagine Sledge Hammer and Police Squad updated for 2016. Some pretty funny stuff here.

I caught a preview of the series at the theater last night and it sold me on checking the show out (it appears sillier, -in a good way, -than what I was expecting).

This is similar to those Spoils... IFC shows, it has some inspired, funny bits but you have to get through some super over the top silliness to get to it.

I'm really enjoying it so far, but I can see how some people might not get into it. It's basically Naked Gun: The TV Show except instead of Leslie Nielsen, you have Rashida Jones. It's better than the Spoils of shows that are on IFC IMO. There were several jokes I missed out on because I was laughing or just didn't catch. It is very rapid fire.

I intended to watch one episode, but I ended up watching three. Its very much in the "Police Squad"/"Son of the Beach" style, much broader than the IFC shows. Its probably good that they did just ten episodes, -it would burn itself out with much more than that.

So far I've watched episodes 1-4 and I'm liking the show. Jere Burns and Alfred Molina are pretty funny in the supporting cast.

Also, I don't think this show really benefitted from binge-watching. I liked it a lot at first, and found myself enjoying it less with every episode.

Noticed on my DVR that the season is airing again weekly starting next Monday with the Pilot and it's listed as a 1st run episode. Probably because the episodes are not labeled with the "Binge-a-thon" thing.
So be aware that you might have to delete your season record to not pick these up.

Watched a few episodes today. I get the kind of humor they were going for but didn't find it particularly funny (and I grew up loving movies like Airplane! and Top Secret).
I do love Rashida Jones though so I hope the show is a success for her sake.

I watched the first episode and just think it's passable only.
It's not bad, but isn't really making me laugh much either. I think the problem is that after all these years of numerous movie and TV spoofs - I'm over the concept. Plus it doesn't help that there's a lot of jokes that's been recycled numerous times already.
I'd like to see Rashida Jones in a regular non-spoof comedy.
