... and another case where the person is rescued (via the insulin) only to do something stupid that gets them killed (after all this time people still don't think to stay away from the zombies - even when wrapped up in bags).

I thought that the voice might have been Rick .. since the episodes have been messing with time (in how we are seeing some things before/after others) that it could have been him calling for help (which later would indicate why he was running into Alexandria by himself) - perhaps another piece of the puzzle hasn't been revealed yet

And .. now that I think about it .. the trio that Daryl came across indicated that they opened up a fuel truck and started a fire ... and no one saw it? Burning trees? Smoke? Nothing?

I think so, too. They went out of their way to show Daryl trying the walkie when he first got his stuff back from his captors... seems like that was there to remind everyone it was in the bag.

Exactly... and the set up for next week when the three go to find out what happened (and so Daryl can retrieve his crossbow).

I wonder where those sort of RPG would even come from to be in play in the first place? Hardcore dooms day prep'er sort? Seems like something that would be very hard for the average person to pick up at a random gun show. "Hi, so do you happen to have a cases of RPGs?"

I also don't think the US military uses that sort of lower tech missiles, but maybe they still have some stashed away.

this ep also seemed like it was made to poke at those of us that kept saying to just use fire in the quarry pit. Being they burned everything up in that forest and still had a zombie problem.

It was fairly obvious that the RPGs were from the military. What with the military vehicle the box was on, and the walker in a military uniform with one slung over his shoulder.

Well yeah.. I did not miss all of that of anything, I'm just being nit-picky. Does the US military stock RPGs? Could a doomsday prep'er have a box for a military group to "find"? It just seems like one of those weapons that is not around in the USA very much.

I'd be asking the same thing if they had found a tactical box filled with a couple dozen 22cal derringers in the back of a Humvee. Being that too doesn't strike me as something our military just has in a warehouse some where.

In the end I'm guessing it's just a writer's move to get the classic rocket launcher into play. It a very film friendly weapon compared to the self contained sort of missile launchers.

Just wait, maybe Glenn gets RPG "saved" some how.

Didn't they say they did that relatively early in the zombie outbreak? So, a couple of years ago?

They did. They were fighting back from the beginning and that was one of the first things they did.

Those burnt zombies seemed very recent, though - not ones that had been lying around for a long period of time. Maybe that was why I thought the fireline was a more recent event

What bags? Are you talking about the zombies in the burnt-out greenhouse that were covered in melted glass?

When I saw that scene I didn't really focus on how she was being stupid, but focused more on how the zombie wasn't moving or anything until she just so happened to sit down next to it. This show is famous for having zombies only "activate" when people are nearby when it helps push a plot point forward. It just seems ridiculous to me to think that that zombie happened to to have been laying there for hours, days, weeks, or longer and only moved for the first time when that girl just so happened to be there. But they pull that sort of thing all the time.

Total filler episode where very little was accomplished. Dragging out Glenn's fate this long is ridiculous. This is what happens when you can't come up with ideas, you drag timelines and events to fill some episodes.

So Abraham tries to get the launcher from the walker and risks getting bit instead of just killing the walker first? He had a knife with him and was face-to-face with the walker - stab him in the head and go for it. Stupid characters leading to false tension.

A slow moving walker is coming towards Daryl - so he's desperately trying to get the crossbow out of the bag before he gets bit. Pretty easy to escape the walker and get the crossbow later... or just walk away with the bag while trying to get the crossbow out. No need to sit there like zombie-lunch. Again, false tension.

It's the shows trademark. It similar to the ninja-zombies. They're quite as shit until they're close enough to scare you... while most other times they're always making noises no matter what.

I see this as more of a single timeline where we get to see what everyone is doing during the separation. I dont mind it at all. I kinda like it.
If it weren't happening like this, people would bitch and want answers as to "what are they doing. What did they do this whole time. I wish they would let us know what they were doing. Did they just have it easy" ... or cram it all into one episode and still have the bitching of not enough info and lazy writing to speed through things.

Except when we see people doing nothing. Abraham and Sasha's adventures were hardly worth showing. May as well have shown characters taking shits. And with Morgan we only got to see what happened before Alexandria - nothing to do with this timeline. Lots of filler.

When we first saw the zombies in the pit at the beginning of the season didn't someone here suggest setting them all on fire? I could have sworn they did..

Is no one going to mention the biggest event of the episode -- Abraham ditching Suzie Crabgrass for Sasha??? My mind is blown.

But wasn't it in the Morgan centric episode that some zombies walked easily out of the camp fire and launched themselves at Morgan? In that episode, it was shown that fire doesn't work that much at walkers and actually makes them more dangerous as the living would get burn if they try to grab them.
