Moore wasn't on the book for very long.

Just six issues, but I think Rick was riding around on a horse in at least two issues.

EDIT: But I do want to point out (not to you) that Moore's opening run was devoid of zombie animals, so it's not like the comic doesn't have them because Adlard doesn't like drawing animals. The rules had already been established.

I liked the episode.

I hope when they resolve what happened to Glenn that we get a flashback finally explaining how he suddenly had that pen in his hand at the dinnertable in the one Hershel's farm episode.

Yeah, I don't find Morgan tremendously interesting, his uber-peace philosophy is laughably out of place in a zombie apocalypse, and this episode had no reason to be be full length.

I thought it was a great episode... but I happen to like having differently paced episodes.

Regarding the hyper-peacenik philosophy...

Unlike Eastman, Morgan has no skills or training in dealing with psychos. He thinks that all there is to that philosophy is tie up the bad guys, don't kill them, and just talk to them.

That's where his embracing of this philosophy is a danger to him and to those around him. He's like the guy who watches a YouTube video on brain surgery and then thinks he can perform the surgery.

Heh, both really briefly. Foot Hill College had a course too. There was an Akijitsu school in Mountain View called Do Satsu Ken Dojo by Sensei that I really liked the for the martial art aspect... but the Sensei sorta gave me a bad vibe eventually.

But I was training in Bujinkan Budo Taijitsu at the time, but it's a small world and we all mingled, talked shop, and rolled on the mat. My best friend was a BJJ & Judo guy.

Cool. Do you still train? I haven't trained in 10 years. Messed up my back riding my bike. No more rolls for me. Anyways, you probably trained with my Senseis'...Robert Nadeau and Jack Wada if you went to both schools. Nadeau was one of the last students of O-Sensei before he passed. So, it's a direct line to the original version of Aiki. I also studied Escrima/Arnis. I still practice that today; mostly knife techniques.

Maybe that philosophy is viable in a real-world context when a person is undergoing psychological testing while imprisoned and part of a reform system and used as a psychological approach for the purposes of analysis. In an anarchic zombie apocalypse where rape and murder gangs run rampant, it's applicability is practically nonexistent, IMO

Small world. :)

No, got sick from diabetes and by the time I got healthy I'm pretty much too old to handle the falls.
