Most people get choked up by talking about loved ones. What brings tears to Stephen's eyes? Intense Survivor strategy discussion!

Could Survivor have telegraphed things not going Woo's way any more? I knew he was doomed when they had a clip of saying how happy he was that he was finally in the loop for what's going on.

In case anyone was curious, Ciera said on twitter that she wanted to take out Andrew tonight, but Abi insisted on Woo.

I guess that should end any speculation on who was keeping Abi reigned it over at the last beach (Tasha). Andrew's arrogance gets him again. Douchebag.

Loved Stephen at the immunity challenge. I think the reason why Stephen got choked up (besides being tired and hungry) is that he has thought about that mistake for a long time. He seems to be the type to have analyzed and stressed over his game endlessly since the last time he played. And now to him the obvious move seems clear and the people he's aligned with don't want to make it. I'm glad he admitted that his crying was stupid though.

Why don't they get rid of Kass? What is good about keeping her around?

Nothing, but I get the feeling she's played a very low-level game so far, keeping her head down, so she's not on anyone's radar. Of course, she's also been on winning teams this season so there's been no reason for hardcore strategy to come out. I'm sure that'll change as things heat up.

Exactly. Last night was her first trip to tribal council so she hasn't been at risk.

Just got around to watching the episode from last week.

Really bummed about Deitz having to go. I didn't feel like he was going to win, but he was someone I was cheering for to go far. The update posted at the end and the video above is encouraging to hear.

I missed the season he was on earlier, but was he this much of an idiot previously? I'm assuming it's the reason why he was voted to come back.

With each passing season, it seems like it's easier to see what's going to happen because of the editing. I agree with your thoughts. As soon as they had Savage/Woo talking big, it was obvious things weren't going to go well for them.

Pretty much. He was a nervous, paranoid schemer. He formed a tight alliance and real friendship with one of the stronger players, JT. Even with that friendship, Stephen would have sold him out if given the chance. The two made it to the end were the infinitely more likable JT crushed him. He didn't get a single vote. The thing about Stephen is he always thinking about the game to the point were he doesn't see the forest for the trees. He actually thought the vote would be a toss up not the overwhelming lose because JT was just as culpable in voting out the jury members.
