Very good episode. Those guys were scary as hell. The fact that they were the complete opposite of Alexandria and just came at them like nothing was insane. I got chills.

I think Morgan did end up killing that guy in the end, right?

Also, wasn't that a flare gun he had on his hip?

great episode. Some pretty grisly kills by the Wolves. Loved how Carol turns from her fake homemaker persona to the badass killing machine.

The way that Morgan acted didn't really bother me. I know this post apocalyptic world it's really kill or be killed. But I think Morgan was was greatly affected by the death of his son and wife where he's just sick of death. I think he's taking a more Zen approach to surviving and tries to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. I think it's good to add this different dynamic to the group.

at how Morgan got pissed off when Carol gutted one of the wolves and he said..."I had him"

In Carol's defense he never said "claimed" : )

At least what Morgan said to Carol was true. She doesn't like it. It's just an unfortunate necessity.

What is going on with Carl's hair? That thing is starting to look like a shaggy mop.

She should have been on Friends as Jennifer Aniston's older sister or young aunt.

My basic thoughts for this ep: Morgan is an idiot. And him scurrying after them and just closing the gate...okay dude.

One would hope they would not like or enjoy killing people. She sure gets things done without pausing or talking about it for an hour. Does what needs to be done.

Did anyone else think she'd end up killing someone by mistake? What a weird setup with no payoff. Maybe Episode 3?
I thought that was where Morgan walked into near the end of the episode before they revealed the wolf hiding.

I like how Morgan can take on virtually an unlimited number of baddies with a stick.

Anyone else notice that Holly wasn't featured in the 'people that died' part of Talking Dead? I was mostly surprised that she died already as she was around for a while yet in the comics, so then I thought it was odd that she wasn't mentioned. There's no way she didn't die, right?

EDIT: I was just checking and see that this was the only appearance by Holly in the show, Francine is the one that is following Holly's story from the comics. Why the hell do that do that? Change comic Holly into Francine, and then have a character named Holly appear and die in one episode.

yup.

It seems like everyone is forgetting the gun on the hip, which means he took Carol's advice. That is why I also think he killed the guy in the house.

It didn't look like a flare gun, it looked like a 45.

Morgan was stockpiling guns and shot Rick in the "Clear" episode. I wish he'd make up his mind.

I don't think he killed that guy. I think he just knocked him out and has him prisoner or released him outside the walls. Taking him prisoner for info seems like a good idea. Just let Carol play the bad cop.

That's what I'm thinking -- they're not allowed firearms by the bad guy(s) who are leading them as a way to keep control of them. Although, they could also be askewing technology to keep themselves in a more animalistic (wolf) state. I can't think of any other logical explanations because this is America, it certainly isn't hard to find firearms.

It seemed that - after the stick fight - one of the Wolves took a gun. Or did he grab something else from the body?

Also, what was the bag that Morgan seemed to be carrying at the end?

do you think he killed that guy at the end just coming to terms with how the world must be dealt with?

For food? Aren't they a cannibal lot?

Well he said "I'm sorry" before he did it.. I don't recall him apologizing to anyone else before.. so I think yes.

Yeah as a Reptile owner that whole eating the RAW tortoise scene made me sick. I was thinking that chick might get salmonella poisoning.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe they prefer drum sticks over breast meat.

Funny to see all the backslash after everyone was waiting for Morgan to be a regular. But it should be interesting to see him this season.

I also thought that Enid was helping the Wolves. But then she would probably told them where all the guns where, and they would go directly there. Unless... nah, that's too convoluted.

Incapacitated Villain: "Allow me to explain our evil plan..."

Carol: BLAM!
