Justin is so annoying that he has me rooting for the Texas frat boys to take him out. I had to at Justin's interview where he states that he's not being cocky ... just confident. And only 30 seconds later he does a cocky gloating victory dance.

Justin not playing the U-turn on Team Texas ... that was all strategy (instead of wanting to keep his word), right? Since using the U-turn on the team right behind you in 2nd place most likely won't get them eliminated from the game.

Maybe it was an illusion of the editing, but it looks like the players doing the giraffe challenge really got the short end of the stick (compared to the croquet). Not that it was hard to complete, but it just looked so damned tedious. I bet that local judge was getting a kick out of telling teams "99% done".

Huge miscalculation with the Express Pass. Based on past seasons, don't teams find out that they are U-Turned after completing one of the two detours? So Team Texas should have known the U-Turn wasn't going to be immediately after the Roadblock.

I'm all for experiencing new cultures, but I probably would have freaked out about getting spit in the face in a third world country haha

Well, Justin is constantly informing viewers that he's a master of "the game" having watched each season of TAR at least 3 times, so he knows exactly what's going to happen.

That's just going to make the inevitable terrible taxi driver that costs them the race more satisfying.

Even better would be if he does a bonehead strategic move. Like the karma Haley got last season (after nagging Blair all season that he was always wrong and she was always right, her mistake costs them the game at the very end).

Me too. Justin doesn't bother me that much. He's just really enthusiastic about the race, and I like Diana so far. I definitely find the frat guys incessant whining about him far more annoying.

The producers are playing games with their game and the contestants. Like always.
They knew how to screw them up with the express pass, though I didn't understand their logic in wanting to use it on a team that won't get eliminated by its use. I guess the lesson here is to use it when you hit a nasty challenge.

What a huge mistake on the Express Pass. Though the idea to have a team U-Turn the leader just to fill that spot on the board is pretty brilliant.

I agree. I could see how he could be annoying to the other teams, but he really seems to be living his dream and is just so happy to be on the race it comes through in everything they do.
