Pretty obvious that Ginny isn't dead. I think she saved Alex after he got shot and tampered with the security cameras that Cassandra was trying to watch.

Fun episode with lots of action. But, Eric Roberts was kind of wasted playing that character.

Why introduce a boyfriend for Cassandra? Didn't seem like there was much of a point for him.

cannon fodder for a later ep.. He had maybe 3min of screen time and then he was out of there. Odds are he will be Cassandra's big conflict issue vs "the house" in some game a few weeks from now.

I'm kind of torn if I like this show or not..
I think a younger me would of loved this show being it's basically just the action parts any other show. Ya know, like remove even the limited investigation side of any given Hawaii-Five O ep and just do the bad guy chase down for 40min..

but now I seem to be more interested in the stuff they are not really touching on. How the game works, who is really betting, the pit boss's background and so on.. I'm not sure if just the action is going to keep me hooked.

It's not helping that 3 out of 4 eps now have been "hitman" as a theme.

Nice to see Nikki Deloach again.. She seems to pop up on at least one random show every TV season it seems.

They need to drop the best friend cop guy. I'm sick of the back and forth. He'll need to bite the bullet.

Also, they already showed Cassandra's boyfriend in a previous episode.

Yeah I know he appeared in 1 scene 2 weeks ago towards the end of the episode.

Noticed how he called her "April"

I guess he could come back down the line.

I like the cop friend: it's nice to have at least one person who isn't in on the game mucking up the works. Sooner or later Alex will have to fill him in.

Awful show. I love it and I am thoroughly entertained. Love that Stonebridge is doing every stunt he can still.

the stand alone content is great, cool action series

The ongoing wife story is stupid and not working for me.

It may not last but The Player has been an entertaining blast so far with over-the-top action. One of the few shows relying on a weekly formula I've really liked over the past few years. Wesley Snipes may be the weak link, his performance has been stiffer than I've seen from him in the past.

Did anyone else think the guest lead actress for this episode was a dead ringer for a young Erin Gray? When she first appeared, I thought Erin Gray was looking fantastic for her age.:lol: She now has a doppelganger.
