When I was enjoying SHIELD, many said it was shit and that ARROW was a far superior show.

Psst - the quality of shows can change over time.

Really liked this ep, and felt it was a much better premiere than The Flash's. I think the tone was off for The Flash (too serious), but Arrow had a good balance of hope and darkness.

As far as who's in the grave:
  • Thea is going a bit bonkers after her dip in the Lazarus Pit and might have to be put down.
  • Diggle could perish in his attempts at avenging his brother.
  • Lance could die redeeming himself against HIVE.
  • Laurel still sucks.
But my money is on Mrs. Diggle, or Ollie's baby mama.

Because during Season 1 of Shield (for most of it) and Season 2 of Arrow that most true.

Arrow is still superior to SHIELD. SHIELD just went from absolutely sucking nuts to being mostly mediocre.

Flash still smokes both of them, but Arrow had the better premiere.

We all have our own opinions.

I quit Agents of SHIELD when Coulson said you were an idiot if you quit watching Agents of SHIELD. Since I was hate-watching before I thought spite-quitting was appropriate. The only time I liked it was with Bill Paxton. Arrow at it's worst is about the same as Agents of SHIELD at it's non Bill Paxton best.

It's Diggle, and yes, much better ep that the first episode of Flash. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Flash goes through the same slump that Arrow went through.

And personally I like Shield more than both Arrow and Flash. No can't stand them characters like Laurel and Iris and much better eye candy.

I'm still hating Thea and Laurel being top level superheros. Look what Oliver went through to get his fighting skills

Thea and Laurel have a few lessons at the YMCA and are top level !

I agree with you on Laurel, but Thea went through some pretty intense training with her father, Malcolm.

They should have just given Laurel the traditional Black Canary superpowers from the beginning. I think more people would have accepted her dressing up as a crimefighter if she had gotten powers. It didn't really make much sense that an untrained, alcoholic lawyer would become a vigilante after her sister, a trained assassin, died in the same line of work.

I can tolerate Laurel and Thea becoming heroes, though making both of them heroes at once was a little much. They should have had Thea go dark side first before teaming up with Oliver.

So this happened to my friend (BTW, his surgery went very well):

As for the show itself, I'm really enjoying it -- I never didn't enjoy it, but I think this season is better (so far) than last.

Amell is a nice guy. The show is still decent enough, just not as good as the first two seasons. I miss S1 psychotic Ollie...
