Be Cool Scooby Doo!

I have always been a huge Scooby-Doo fan but I'm not so sure about this series. I will, of course, give it a try just to see how it goes. Anyone else excited/optimistic about this new take on the Scooby franchise?

Their faces look so odd, like a Rick and Morty spoof on Scooby Doo.

Looks more like a spoof/parody... I'm gonna pass on this one.

I actually liked the last incarnation they did, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. This one just seems goofy. Not a fan of this animation style for this property, but I'm not the target audience so whatever.

An adult would actually consider watching this?

Not a fan of the animation style whatsoever. Scooby Doo and the gang were always some of my favorite characters but not sure I'll check this version out.

Just be glad that Cartoon Network didn't demand they produce the show in 3-D CGI. I don't see much problem with its animation and the character designs hew fairly closely to the originals outside of the faces.

Re: Be Cool Scooby Doo!

True. Traditional style animation over CG animation is better but yeah the faces just look really weird to me.

I'm okay with the animation style, but that title sucks.

The animation style looks really weird. Daphne, Velma and Fred especially.

I wonder is Matthew Lillard still making the voice of Shaggy from the previous incarnation.

They were toying with doing a reboot of Scooby Doo with a female dog. It was going to feature Samuel L Jackson and was called "Bitch, Be Cool!"

True. As anyone seen the new Alvin and the Chipmunks show on Nickelodeon? I watched it once and I was out. Absolutely brutal. The stuff I watch with my six year old.... Maybe this is how my Dad felt when he used to watch the TV shows I liked when I was a kid.

I recently watched this whole series with my 5 year old granddaughter on Netflix. It was really good. The whole story arc comprising the entire series really surprised me. She also loved it.

Yeah, while some of the stories were ok, the animation made me cry. Staying away from cartoons that feature my favs from the past...
