I think Rick should file for divorce to force Beckett's hand. What she's doing to him is mean and he's chasing her like a sick puppy.

Didn't the showrunner wind up leaving? I remember the behind-the-scenes stories about the lead up to this season were all over the net/tabloid, apparently it was a mess.

Good to see Slaughter back. Adam Baldwin was a hoot.
at Castle and Slaughter singing together in front of those goons.
Weird that Stana was MIA this episode. This has been a weird season so far. Castle and Beckett being separated and then a 3 week break this early in the season.
Unlike a few posters here who say they've given up on Castle, I'm in until the end. I just hope the writers have a really good payoff for this Beckett arc.

I still seem to keep this one higher on the watch list than some other shows.
Yes, Adam Baldwin is a hoot. A West Side Story rumble. lol
I did find it odd that Stana was absent from the episode. While watching, I was wondering what other gigs she must have had to not show up in the episode.

This was a really, really good episode. Fillion and Baldwin still have great on screen chemistry. It's clear that the producers knew they had to do something big to cover for Stana's absence. They came up with the perfect way to do it.
I actually hope they bring Baldwin back again. He fits in really well.

They had Gina Torres on the show but blew the chance to put in a good reference. It would be fun to see an episode where every one of the suspects are the cast from Firefly.

I wish Baldwin was more of a regular on the show. He and Nathan have great chemistry.

The only Firefly reference I caught was Slaughter referring to the building as "shiny" were there any others?

Isn't it funny, though, that these guys (the Firefly cast) seem tighter as a group of actors after only half a season and one movie than most casts do after 5 or 10 years working together.
Castle has been the perfect vehicle for Nathan Fillion, and a great way to cast some of his friends from Firefly. Both shows were/are wildly entertaining, too.

Loved this week's episode. I would watch a spin-off featuring Espo and Ryan.

OK, as much as I enjoyed this week's episode I am really sick of the, "Time out," that the producers seem hell bent on prolonging as long as possible. This has now officially gotten old.
The show is still good, and remains enjoyable to watch - but not because of the dramatic, personal tension from the, "Time out." The show remains enjoyable in spite of it.
This is likely this show's final season, and I'd hate to see much more of it wasted on this plot thread that no one likes.

The problem is people were bitching about how the charm left once they got married. They had to do something although I'm not to fond this myself

Just got caught up. Thank God this time out/breakup charade is over with.
I'd rather see Castle and Beckett working close together than being apart. This arc was pretty annoying.
I'm actually glad they didn't prolong it with him still being pissed it her.

Just caught up with this. It's nice to see that Natalie Ludgate flash forward we didn't get in the Parks and Rec final episode. Apparently, she's working as a dancer on a cruise ship.
As for this show...there's not much left. I've enjoyed the increased used of Alexis this year though.

Kind of lost interest at this point. Hopefully the DVR will get it. I'm sure we'll see it at some point

The only positive for an almost 2 1/2 month hiatus is the show will run with pretty much no breaks until May.
But, in this day and age when there is so much content on TV/streaming, people lose interest in things fast. Wouldn't surprise me if there is a ratings drop when it returns.

Saw this on the Betamax last night. Not a bad episode, it had some fun parts like Espo singing. I have to admit to only half paying attention though. I have kind of lost interest. After all this time you get out of the habit of looking forward to a new episode. If this was a few seasons ago when it was hitting on all cylinders it could have gotten away with it more easily.

Yeah, this was definitely more of a filler, and not one to remind people why they should be watching regularly.
