Maybe because it was more of an original concept, but I still enjoyed it. The lack of familiar faces really sold it.

The Blue Jean Committee and Dronez were the best.

Maybe they spoof a Michael Moore or Morgan Spurlock doc next season?

Juan Likes Rice and Chicken was beyond amazing. They're really hyping that one out in the press with a fake pop up shop in New York. But so amazingly executed that it's worth it.

I thought this week's episode, Globesman, topped Juan Likes Chicken and Rice (and I really liked that episode too). Absolutely fantastic this week.

Armisen did an especially good job this week. 'every day I get to see the world'

It is coming back in February 2019

NEW YORK - September 6, 2018 - IFC today announced details of two episodes from the upcoming season of Documentary Now!, the Emmy(R)-nominated comedy co-created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers and Rhys Thomas and executive produced by Lorne Michaels. The new titles, "Any Given Saturday Afternoon" and "Long Gone," join the previously announced episodes "Original Cast Album: Co-Op" and "Waiting for the Artist." Known for lovingly paying homage to the world of documentaries, Season 52 of Documentary Now! premieres Wednesday, February 20 at 10PM on IFC with seven all-new episodes.

Can't believe it's already up to 52 seasons. That's more than Now That's What I Call Music: The Television Series.

Bill Hader doesn't have many (any?) roles this year, because he was busy with Barry.

I'm surprised it was renewed.
I thought it was often very amusing, but I have a sick sense of humor (so the wife insists).

I liked season one way better than season two, but I'm definitely in for more.
