I liked tonight's episode mainly for the character moments, but the plot to get Terry out of jail was really contrived.

:lol: at Bunchy shopping for formula and grabbing that big titty Mexican chick for her breast milk. How the fuck was he able to convince her to do that?

As for Ray getting Terry out of jail. Everything just seemed way too convenient. Finney just happened to know the Governor of California and the Governor just happened to be in Los Angeles on the same day that Terry was being released into general population. The judge who convicted Terry just happens to have a heart condition and dies when Mickey shows up. What are the odds of that? That whole plot was pretty ridiculous.

:lol: at Mickey breathing a sigh of relief after getting the call from Ray and getting back to his old self.

I'm sure most of you agree, but Abby is dead weight. I mean hanging out with that dog and babysitting the whore's kid. I think they don't know what to do with her now. I hope they kill her off or make her move back to Boston when the season is over.

I remember Katie Holmes being kind of cute when she was younger on Dawson's Creek. But damn, she looks so old and tired on this show. Those removable braces aren't helping either.

Well, that was 17 years ago. People age. Except Rhona Mitra, who looks almost exactly the same on The Last Ship as she did in her guest role on Party of Five back in 1999. I mean, she's aged some, but come on:

Yeah, Rhona looks phenomenal. And that accent. :drool:

The plot re: Terry - totally contrived but entertaining nonetheless. Just to see Ray under somebody's thumb.
