Ray is adrift from his family, estranged from Ezra, and his latest celebrity client is a nobody with tawdry taste. But after he’s called to the funeral of a close friend, a wealthy family enlists Ray to free their kidnapped son, and he finds himself enmeshed with an entirely new class of people. Meanwhile, a retired Mickey stumbles upon a new enterprise. Unforgiven by Ray and rejected by Bridget, Abby encounters a new friend on the streets of Los Angeles. Running the Fite Club has given Bunchy confidence in certain arenas, but when it comes to collecting membership dues from an intimidating troupe of Luchadores, he loses his nerve.

Hope this gets back to more of a fixer drama. That's when it was at it's strongest.

Promising start to season 3. The less Ray interacts with Abby and his family, the better.
RIP Ezra
Some good guest stars. Ian McShane, Katie Holmes, Fairuza Balk and even Leland Orser from the Taken movies. Hopefully McShane will be around the entire season. I already know that Holmes has an extended arc.
Ray taking out the kidnapper was badass.
I guess Orser's character is looking into the murder of the Priest from Boston that molested the Donovan brothers.
Love Mickey. Always finds a new scheme to make money. I guess taking out that pimp will lead to him taking over his operation.
I totally forgot that Terry went to prison.

I thought they may soft-boot this season since so many things were tied up this year, so it was interesting to see things pickup where they left off. Ray is just slipping further away. It took me most of the episode to figure out the priest was from Taken
And Mickey, as always is pure gold.

Love this show. I order Showtime for 3 months every year just for Ray.

Good start. Ray needs to stop with the sulking. My favorite part was his wife bringing home the dog; "This is my dog!"
