I don't see how Jmac and Steve don't team up with Meg and James if they have any sense. Plus if it gets down to 4, Meg is useless in comps so it helps the end game for those two as well. The only thing I can think of is that they see Vanessa as someone they can beat at the end? (but they would have to know Austwins would be targetting them next so that's a very risky play)

Vanessa seems like a nutjob; she switches from anger to tears to victim on a dime. Almost seems like she has a real issue, either that or she is a phenomenal actress. The conversation with James was crazy - all he did was calmly say she plays the game too hard and she treats it like a crime against humanity.

Reasons to do it:

Austin and the twins are a powerful voting block.
Austin is certain to nominate John and Steve if he wins DE HOH.
Vanessa is an uncertain ally

Reasons not to do it:
If you're going to take out one of the three, then Julia really isn't the one to take out. She's the one to keep and drag to the end.
Austin will probably throw DE HOH, and the twins will almost certainly at least nominate James.
James and Meg trust Austin way too much, so you probably wouldn't be gaining allies as they'll just run back to him.

Personally, I think John and Steve are better off voting Meg and then going all out in DE HOH and nominating Austin and Liz.

Steve won the HOH, which makes Vanessa and John happy, while the Austwins look very tense. Of course, now everyone is listening with rapt attention to Steve talk about how he arranges his Halloween candy and the fact that he has candy stashed all over the BB house.

Vanessa, Steve, and John arranged it beforehand that if it was a mental competition John was to throw it after Austin and Julia were eliminated so he could compete next week if it's physical. I guess John finished second. Vanessa had no actual interest in winning for obvious reasons.

Steve wanted to nominate the twins, but Vanessa and John convinced him why that was a bad idea so now unless Julia wins veto Austin or Liz should be leaving next week.

Oh, and Austin apparently did finally figure out that sending James home instead of John was a bad move for him.

Steve spent five minutes struggling to open a package of Fun Dip before eventually asking someone to show him how to open it. Once the package was open, he asked someone to show him how to eat it.

Austin won the veto. This would seem to mean that it will be twin vs. twin on the block. Liz freaked out and went to be and shooed away Austin (of course, we don't know what actually went on during the competition). Vanessa continues with the verbal hand jobs and Steve is suspicious. We'll see what happens when things settle down.

The twins just get worse and worse with each passing moment. If there was any possible way to make time, I'd probably cave and get the feeds now. Things seem to be very entertaining in there.

I don't mind the twins. There have been far worse HGs than them. Sure they are really catty talking to each other, but in general they don't take it out on the other HGs. Hell, Liz got nominated yesterday and then cooked for everyone last night.

Of the current HGs, Austin is the only one I really don't care for, and even he's not that bad. It's just that I hoped before the season that I would like him, and he turned out to be such a tool. Apparently, he was a real ass after veto today which was hosted by an even bigger tool.

It was former houseguest Jesse AKA Wrestling's "Mr. Pec-Tacular". I watched a bit of BBAD as Vanessa was engrossed in a one-on-one with Austin (she was clearly lathering him up) as he talked about the basics of Wrestling and how its performed*. Of course, I just walked past the Television as I headed back up to the computer and Austin was expounding to JM about working out. Austin's riding a Veto High and seems quite taken with himself.

*Austin has said he hopes being on "Big Brother" might lead to him getting a spot on El Rey's "Lucha Underground" which shares some producers with BB. His pal and mentor is the actor who plays "Johnny Mundo" on the show.

Steve and Johnny are fucking idiots for letting Jackie go during the double eviction instead of targeting Austin or Vanessa.

They should tossed Vanessa instead of Shelli, and then when Steve won HOH he should have put up Austin and Liz and broken up that bloc when he had the chance.

Vanessa deserves to win the way she has everyone eating up her bullshit even when they know she's full of shit.

Usually only happens when there is a taped eviction that they don't want the live feeds to spoil, but the feeds are usually down like that near the end of the game.

Don't know why they are down today.

I could swear Julie said Tuesday was a "live eviction."

Even if the eviction was taped and not aired on feeds, we'd still know who's missing within a minute after the feeds came back.


My guess: Liz and her guest(?) are away on her luxury trip. Last year, the luxury trip was a day at an NFL practice (cheap plug for CBS having Thurs night games). No idea what they're doing this year.

Two things happened during the live feed blackout:

Liz and Vanessa went to some sort of event (concert?) where they talked to Arianna and Frankie Grande.

Steve and John were nominated for eviction.

They went to an Arianna Grande concert from what I read. That honestly seems more like a punishment than a reward...especially if Frankie was involved.

So, what's Vanessa's path to the F2? I know she's played very well so far and has consistently gotten people to do her bidding, but we're down to the very end and I just can't see anyone wanting to sit next to her in the F2.
