I really like Joanna Garcia but I get a vibe similar to that flight attended show a few years back that this is sure to be a one a done despite the eye candy.

Agreed. Previews make me think of Pan Am (or even the Playboy Club) and the attempt to capitalize on the Mad Men-era. Maybe this one will have more success than both of those prior shows.

I haven't seen Dominique McElligott in anything since I got pissed at Hell on Wheels at the end of season 2.

Almost tempted to watch this just for Strahovski.

Any word on whether Charlize Theron or Johnny Depp will reprise their roles?

Re: The Astronaut Wives Club (ABC) - Series Thread
For anyone curious, it's a 10 episode order.
It was supposed to premiere last summer, but was postponed after some re-working. I'm checking it out, but this is going to be a tough sell. A period drama on a major network hadn't had much success. |

It wasn't high art, but it wasn't terrible. It's the kind of light summer fare I like to watch so it fits in well with Mistresses and Devious Maids.

The pilot was decent stuff with a strong cast. ABC has tried again and again with period dramas without much success. One of their executives must love Mad Men. |

This is how I felt. I'll keep DVRing it. |
