After years of trying to poach her, Alicia/Canning will finally team up.

The conversation with Peter/Alicia and moments with Finn were great. But the bar scene won't quell those rumors that Ms. Margulies and Ms. Panjabi didn't get along behind the scenes. I would have been fine with the way Kalinda first exited two episodes ago, being the hero solving the 'case-of-the-week' and that simple goodbye to the camera. Instead, Kalinda's absolute last scene putting on her shades striding out to that cheesy music was terrible - a contrast from the classic 'badass' PI we saw in Season 2.

Season Grade: B+...That election storyline was anticlimactic.

That bar scene was shot separately wasn't it? The actresses were no in the same scene at all. Looked very fake.

I did like that they gave her more of a send off, and I liked how everyone stood up to Lester.

I hate that canning is going to partner with her.

Regardless of if they were shot separately, I have a hard time believing that two professional actors would hate each other enough so as to not be able to shoot a simple scene together. That's some immature, childish bullshit right there.

What is the deal with Margulies and Panjabi? I haven't been able to find anything that would explain any dispute or falling out.

Thanks, bdb. Seems like a lot of speculation and very little factual support. Maybe we'll find out in a few years, after the show is over.

Re: The Good Wife (S6E22) -- Season Finale -- "Wanna Partner?" -- 5/10/15

I agree Kalinda's final send off was super cheesy and pretty unnecessary. They did need a bit more resolution to that whole Bishop storyline though so I understand why they did it. Even the scenes with Lester were pretty bad. He was always kind of a menacing character with his friendly demeanor, but here he just came across as a joke, easily blackmailed by Kalinda and then tries to partner with her? That's just not how I understood his character to act in previous episodes. The whole thing could have been handled better over the last few eps.

I liked the case this episode, and they did a pretty good job with the Homen Square story. I'm pissed Finn and Alicia won't be working together though because I like Finn's character and their chemistry. Canning has potential but I find he works best in small doses, so I'm not keen on him becoming a regular. I don't think Alicia will be down with helping him dismantle her friends' firm either.

Overall, a pretty weak season that didn't really go anywhere. The SA race was a waste of time from the start.

They did that because they're not sure if they can get Matthew Goode for enough episodes next season to make him a regular.

making threats against the family of a chicago politician turned governor is asking for trouble even for a powerful drug dealer like Bishop
wonder if he knew Lester was doing that

Peter could easily find someone to shank bishop in the shower
