I like how every drug ad includes the line: Don't take Drug X if you are allergic to Drug X.

My family and I watch all manner of shows on various services (like most) and we have a running thing about all the drug ads. They are just rampant on every service, every commercial break, everywhere they can fit them in. Thing is, they have seemingly vanished in the last week to 10 days. Don't get me wrong, I don't miss them (I think they should be illegal), but did a law get passed banning them? It's almost bizarre it is without those commercials every break.
I swear drug, food/beer, insurance and car ads make up like 90% of all ads I happen to see. Or maybe that's just what they air during the sports I watch.

The more annoying ones are for alcohol since I don't drink... Get those pretty regularly before watching YouTube videos.

That would be a good thing. I don't think a 1 min ad pushing medicine should really be allowed. Just seems dangerous and unnecessary. Obviously it leads to more sales, but drugs should be based on efficacy and relevance not a sound bite to someone afflicted.

They're banned in most countries, but here? Murica! Capitalism! Yada, yada, yada.

It’s almost as if GMC tries to outdo itself with the stupidest ads they can come up with. This one is currently grating on my nerves:

Who’s driving this thing? A robot? A creeper just waiting for the lady’s signal and then just sits there while the guy hugs the truck? And is there someone lying in the snow just over the hill holding onto the puppy until he gets the signal? What the hell is going on?!

I can't explain exactly why but the "Mofongo-Vegtables-Pollo!" woman has got to be the most obnoxious and annoying person in all of current advertising.

I don't know why but I love this one. It makes no sense and it's a horrible commercial in terms of conveying any kind of meaningful marketing, but I love the chemistry and performances of the three principals.

I have no idea how Jardiance helps with Diabetes but I do know that it can cause a life threatening infection to the taint.

You forgot the Daily Double of genital gangrene. As side effects go those are a complete no-go for me.

Tony Kornheiser went on a rant about Applebees using the Cheers theme this morning on his podcast. It was pretty funny.

What is that one where the guy's wife complains that he fired up the grill just to make one hot dog? 'Cuz I gotta say, if it's a gas grill that makes perfect sense to me.

I'll fire up the grill for a couple dogs. I mean, that's what it's there for.

I find those Old Spice commercials with Dolph Lundgren (I guess de-aged or is it a lookalike?) and some dude smelling his armpits. Just gross. Makes me buy any other brand.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

The "better with Pepsi" commercials. They're annoying and they're backwards. You don't grill one hotdog or eat fried chicken in the morning because they're better with Pepsi. You should already have those food items, but no Pepsi, so you do what you can to acquire Pepsi because said food items are better with it. Anyone who has watched Comedy Central should have seen these commercials about a million times.

I don't actually hate it, but this commercial is just such a weird choice:

Marketing a hiring site to people who are launching their own record label? Can't be too big a market.

The Camp Lejeune commercials that I see a million times a day.
Yeah, I get the point, but damn, every day I see a commercial like this...
