I have to admit the one with Vanilla Ice makes me chuckle.

Steve Austin: “Word to your mother.”

Ice T: “You know his mother?”

I’m easily amused, I guess. It’s also impressive to see exactly how many sell-outs they can fit in one commercial.

Yeah I don't know either. "Come for a soccer ball, leave as part of a team". did they hire the kid to work at Target?
And why did the Target guy catch the ball the kid just passed to him? That's not how soccer works.

Can't recall the specific product/brand name but it's for a female pad and talks about how it's for the wedgie pickers out there then proceeds to show an overweight person picking their panties/pad out of their ass.

Lovely.

Good job marketing team?

Whoever approved the TriNet commercial should be fired. It's stupid and doesn't sell the product and I can't stand the obnoxious fat girl.

Those testosterone pills with Frank Thomas telling us about how "she'll" like that we take them, too.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

I've seen parts of that commercial many many times but if you asked me what it was advertising for, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. Like visually it stands out but it does a horrible job of advertising whatever it is they're going for.

I still like Milana Vayntrub and still wish they'd make a Squirrel Girl movie, but man have they run "lily" into the ground.

I did chuckle at the recent one with the Spiderman tie-in, where Doug gets bitten by a spider and at the end he's all puffed up from the allergic reaction and getting loaded into an ambulance.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

I'll give credit to the Limu Emu ads and most insurance ads (Geico's gecko or quirky ads, Progressive's Flo, All State's Dennis Haysbert), actually, in that they stick in your head and you remember which company they are advertising for.

The one I don't get, though, is USAA. They seem to spend like a ton of money and they are only available to like a subset of people.

I was thinking about that yesterday when I was watching football and they decided that playing those Rob Gronkowski commercials should play non-stop during football sundays.

Not only is it only available to a subset of people but that subset of people most certainly already know about USAA, without the commercials.

And to add to this thread. ANY commercial with Rob “frat bro” Gronkowski, which seems to be about 1/3 of all commercials airing right now. His only saving grace is his self-deprecating humor about how dumb he is.

I am shocked no one has made a meme or gif of the last kid in the red hat in the Meta Commercial for a I'm cumming face.

You can't not see it now.

Especially the one with Johnny Depp as the spokesperson. The last person I want to smell like is Johnny Depp (based on his visual appearance)!

Been mentioned already in this thread I know, but it's that time of year to advertise someone getting an f'ing Lexus as a Christmas present...

Those have got to be more effective on women because I don't know any guy I've talked to who has been convinced to wear a cologne because of a commercial (or maybe they just don't want to admit it)

Yup. Lexus, Audi, Buick, and Mercedes are the worst offenders. People who can afford to drop 50k+ on a Christmas gift most likely already have much better cars than those ads are pushing. Never understood why those are a good spend of marketing dollars.

Can't wait to see that commercial where the guy surprises his wife with two massive trucks and she picks the one that he wanted (they change the truck they are selling to keep the commercials up to date too)

I have had my first sighting of this hated commercial, but will allow it because I think his wife is kinda hot and love the way she looks at him and breathlessly says 'yeah?' when he tells her he got something for her too.

Re: Commercials you absolutely f&*$ing HATE

It's funny how easy it is to appease the male demographic when it comes to commercials (and shows). I mean I'm not going to lie and say that it doesn't affect me.
