The commercial would actually be worse if she started out like overweight then got skinny in a year. Other than that, I'm not sure what kind of difference you wanted to see.

I don't know, that would actually make sense. I didn't get what was so life-changing about the bike.

Haven't found it off-putting, but there was something odd about it, not sure why. Oh, and the comments section on YT were disabled.

It’s annoying because it plays up all the social media angles. She’s taking selfies on the bike and instagramming her story and she gets excited when the trainer calls out her screen name. It’s all rather pathetic.

I hate pretty much any Dominos Pizza commercial. First, they were filling potholes on roads so pizza could get to houses in better shape, now they have "delivery insurance" for all the mistakes they make with their pizzas. How about just working on a better pizza and not sucking? Their commercials just come across as so gimmicky.

For people who think "any publicity is good publicity":

As far as dominos and their latest ads go, all I can think is, if I call in and say my pizza was messed up and I need another one, what "extra ingredients" are they going to put in my second pizza? Also, do I have to tip the guy twice?

You know, I had the same reaction first time I saw that Peloton commercial, but then I thought, what if the wife is a fitness fanatic? I definitely know some people like that, and they'd LOVE new exercise equipment for the holidays.

This guy reminds me so much of Walt Flanagan on Comic Book Men.

Sounds to me like Pelaton is blaming the commercial for the underperformance of its stock. They’re a brand new ipo, just went public in September. It’s there first holiday season.

This one makes me laugh too. So before this "insurance" they wouldn't fix an order that they fucked up and delivered wrong?

I believe the insurance also covers if you make a mistake (drop it or whatever), which would generally be your tough luck.

IDK, those are completely separate commercials. This one specifically talk about if they mess up your order (wrong toppings or something similar). I have seen the ones that talk about getting a replacement if you drop it or something too though.

Sometimes it's not the commercial itself, but the venue. I'm watching a series on the Paramount app and they showed the same (forced) ad for Enterprise Leasing with Kristen Bell four times in a row at every break. The ad itself is inoffensive but it's starting to haunt me.

I always thought you were of age, Andicus! At this point in my life, I will sometimes *ask* for socks for Christmas.

I kid you not, I was going to add the comment that I used to say that when I was younger. I agree, that socks for Christmas is now a good thing.

Especially if they're Bombas socks. Expensive but such a great product.

Woah. Peloton can’t be happy about that.

Last year my mother-in-law bought me Donald Trump Novelty Socks as a Christmas present. I guess she thought they were funny? I told her to take them back.
