That ep was twisted.

Loved it when Bullock got disgusted with the "stage show"...

Penguin starts a gang war. Riddler cuts up a body. Gordon hunts down Ogre. Baby Bats meets Mr Fox. S&M and knife fights. Good episode all around.

Best episode of the series I think, so many things really came together in this episode. It was taut and interesting, and had a few twists I was not 100% expecting. Bruce's story in particular is really starting to bloom, and Gothams' Alfred I think is the best of all incarnations. Love the show quite a bit. Only true misstep was keeping Fish Mooney around in a ridiculous subplot well after she should have been sleeping with her kindred.

It's twisted how they can show dismembered body parts, but have to limit profanity to "jerk-o" and a sex club to a bunch of people standing around wearing leather.

I've been genuinely shocked with the gore that this and the Following have gotten away with this season. And at 7:00 CST!

I'm glad they finally finished this serial killer story line. It was getting a bit old for me. Other than that, I really enjoyed the episode. I like the way they're developing Bruce.

Any chance they go down a path where daddy Wayne was a silent crime fighter, but without the costume and notoriety?

I liked the brief appearance by Lucius Fox. Glad the Ogre story is done. Was that a pig we heard on stage when Bullock pulled out his badge?

I hope Fox becomes a big part next season. I really like the character and the actor they chose.

Yeah, I thought that the scenes with the Ogre and Barbara were pretty weak. I did get a kick out of them sending Bullock to that S&M club. And the Penguin double cross to start a war between Falcone and Maroni was pretty clever.

I really hope they avoid that type of plot-line. It greatly diminishes Bruce Wayne as a character and his motivations for becoming Batman.

I never saw the last 15 minutes of this episode, the local news felt compelled to cover the Baltimore riots.

Then you probably missed the key to my comment. Seems that daddy Wayne had a prior relationship with Lucius Fox. Now as a non-comic reader, I only know Fox from the Nolan Batman films as the guy within Wayne Enterprises that helps Bruce. But in this show Fox tells Bruce he had a relationship with his father. Seem like they are laying the foundation for there to have been some secret effort by Fox and Wayne in the past to at least investigate crime in Gotham.

riddler disposing of a cop's body in the crime lab. that takes balls

thing about the sex club is that what they showed would probably scar children more than just showing nudity would. Yet the FCC flips its lid with nudity but let's true depravity like that on the air

Yep, that was definitely a pig.rotfl

What I find genuinely interesting about the show is that Bullock is portrayed here as being a good cop once. By the time Batman exists he's already corrupt and doesn't give a shit about his job.

I saw it, it's not a direction I like for the show. These producers seem desperate to throw in every known Batman character they possibly can get away with. We aren't far from getting Ace the Bat-Hound.

I like Fox being brought in
I didn't take his comments to mean that Bruce's father was fighting crime in general, just looking into what Wayne Enterprises was up to

I know Fish isn't returning next season. I'm hoping they get rid of Barbara as well. Her character is meaningless on this show. Why the need to keep focusing on Gordon's ex?

Not sure what you mean, seeing as Jim will eventually go on to marry Barbara she's not going anywhere.

I know in Nolan's Batman that Jim is married to Barbara, but I always expected her to get killed in this version and be the reason Jim names his daughter after her, who eventually becomes
