One of the best episodes of the season. I guess we will be seeing May's husband again. They went kind of dark there at the end. I didn't think the show would kill a kid.
The one odd thing was Skye's mom letting her dad see her. Just last episode she said he could never see her. It seems like only a day went by. What changed in a day for her to change her mind. Maybe it has really been weeks.

Raina is... Precog Hedgehog.
Really digging this season. I really don't know who I'm supposed to trust and who to root for. Both sides of SHIELD sort of make valid points against the other, and May is caught in the middle.
I don't really trust Jiaying; she seems kind of shady. And the family dinner got really awkward when Cal slipped that Skye was born in 1988, making her a year older than she thought she was. Seems like something that will have ramifications down the road.
Really hoping that Skye and the other Inhumans are in the Blue Rea of the Moon. It would be a great reveal, since Gordon's teleportation seems like the only way to get to and from wherever they are.
Seems like brain-damaged Fitz is actually more normal now than he was before being injured.
And we definitely need more shower scenes with May.

Cool episode, the stuff with Skye's mom feels like it finally gave some weight to her story and the second SHIELD stuff is finally getting interesting to me with what they discovered about Coulson's secrets. Above all that, the way they tied in the Agent May Calvary story to the Inhumans was really well done. I kind of saw the twist as far as the girl, but it was still surprising how it ended.
The only problem with the other SHIELD story is that I just don't see anyway that the show makes Coulson out to be a bad guy. I'm really curious if/how the next few episodes deal with Ultron at all.

No way is Coulson the bad guy.

Just looking at what we know, it looks like Gonzales' SHIELD might be out to exterminate the gifteds/specials, while Coulson might be their Schindler.
Sort of X-Mennish, which seems to fit the way they're dancing around the "mutant" issue.

I like how they tied the stories together. You can really see how May changed to the way she is now, and why she cringes every time someone refers to her as the "cavalry". I wonder if Coulson knows May was the one who shot the girl? All she says as they were walking out was "I couldn't save her" or something to that effect. Seems they're both keeping secrets from each other.
Also, the feels!! I like that Jiaying doesn't just come out and say "I'm your mother", but reveals to Skye by saying her birthdate, and we see Skye's slow realization.

I liked this episode a lot. Good to see some backstory on May and how she became a very cold and recluse agent. At least we know now how her marriage fell apart.
Some pretty cool fight and action scenes with May in that flashback.
Just realized when watching this that Luke Mitchell, who played Lincoln, was on The Tomorrow People last season. Kind of ironic that he's playing a similar character. Normally I'm not a huge fan of Skye's scenes, but I thought they were fine here and how she and Dichen Lachman re-connected as mother and daughter. That whole sequence did feel sort of X-Men/The Tomorrow People like.

Could someone please explain the ending of the dinner scene when Lincoln showed up and said 'it wasn't just a dream'? or something to that affect.

Raina said she saw Skye happy and having dinner with her father and it wasnt fair that she was turned into a freak. He realized that she saw the future.

I have a sense that Coulson recruiting "supers" is going to tie-in with Avengers 2 or Civil War somehow.

Clearly this is leading up to Age of Ultron. I love how they tie the whole universe together. I wonder if Daredevil will eventually tie in as well.

Considering Reina's affinity for flowers and the fact she twice referred to herself as having "thorns" I'm guessing her power is flower-related (Flower Power). In her vision/dream there were flowers on the dinner table too.

I liked Coulson's line in the flashback about "taking Earth's mightiest and find out if they're heroes"

I'm wondering if they're in K'un-L'un? The place Skye and the Inhumans are at looks similar to what i remember of K'un-L'un from Avengers vs. X-Men. I kept thinking they were eventually going to end up in Attilan, but I guess marvel's saving that for the Inhumans movie.
