Very happy to see that Arkin is directing the episode. I know we've already got a lot going on, but here's hoping for a Theo appearance.

One of my all time favorite shows. Selfishly sad to see it go, but know its for the best.

Great Ending. All of the main characters had good endings IMO.

I'd put that finale up there with The Shield and Six Feet Under. The shoot out was great.

Re: Justified (S6E13) Series Finale -- "The Promise" -- 4/14/15

That was just lovely. I felt that they really gave a nice send off to everyone. I enjoyed the slow pace of the last half of the episode. I was sad that Raylan and Winona couldn't make it work, but that makes sense. Why now after all the times in the past that it couldn't?

"We dug coal together." Great line to end on.

The Shield ending is still my #1. But this is pretty close. FX is responsible for most of the TV shows I have loved.

And Wynn Duffy survives and walks away with all the money. All is right in the world.

Wow. I disagree with everyone here lol. That wasnt Dexter level bad but to me if felt like a complete cop out. All three of them should've left Harlan in body bags.

Re: Justified (S6E13) Series Finale -- "The Promise" -- 4/14/15

So sad that it's gone, but, over the course of its run, maybe the most satisfying show I've ever watched.

I thought I'd be bummed if Boyd and Ava didn't get their happy ending, but this worked out pretty damn well. Kinda sucks Raylan and Winona didn't end up together, but absolutely fits with their history. That and the dude with whom Winona ended up.

And a Wynn spin-off or ever little Zachariah Crowder's future adventures leave open some interesting possibilities.

Already missing this show. Thanks to everyone that brought us this show for the past 6 years. I think it's time to read Elmore Leonard's works that inspired/were inspired by the series.

Why? Raylan got out of Harlan but lost Winona, Ava got away and out of jail but will forever be haunted by Boyd through her son, and Boyd is back to where he started, using religion to try and get out of prison, proving he has no way out this time.

All three of them were terrible human beings. They all deserved to die. Instead Boyd sits in jail, Eva hangs out in wine country with jr. Boyd and Raylan resets to back where he started. It's a silly and sentimental ending that's, in my humble and obviously minority opinion, totally out of place.

Re: Justified (S6E13) Series Finale -- "The Promise" -- 4/14/15

Liked the final episode. I'm glad they played against expectations with it not going out with a barrage of bullets for Raylan and Boyd. But that was a better, more satisfying ending than a shootout would have been especially knowing the the shootout with Boon was still coming. Graham Yost has referred to Loretta as basically the overall client of the series so it was fitting Raylan had to save her one more time.

Thought it was strange that Loretta didn't have a single like of dialogue though.

I really don't see Ava or Raylan as terrible to be honest. They were a product of Harlan, each stuck in their role. Boyd being in prison, and thinking Ava is dead, is probably worst than death for him.
