The fact that they even considered this was ridiculous enough. Coach was a great show for the first 4-5 seasons, but the last few seasons it started to sputter like any great comedy. Why would they think this would even work again?

Don't worry, now NBC is interested in getting Dan Aykroyd for a Soul Man follow up.

Which means Fuller House isn't a reboot either, but people keep referring to is as such.

I learned from reading about this show that Dauber is the voice of Patrick Star, which totally makes sense now that I think about it, but I never made the connection before now. Mind = Blown.

Not sure why some people are so down on the idea of this. It would have been a harmless sequel series and obviously NBC has a decent relationship with Craig T. Nelson so I'm sure that's part of why it was being considered. I'm guessing it wouldn't have done great anyways and may have been cancelled after a season but I would have watched it.

Craig T. Nelson was really opposed to his character dying in Parenthood. I guess they owed him a little bit from that. Now he gets a full season's worth of pay checks. Wooo hooo!
