No Joe confessionals meant Joe probably wasn't going home. Joaquin misplayed it by not bringing Joe in and getting rid of Dan. Sierra most likely would have been down with that.

I don't blame Rodney for being shocked. After all, intentionally throwing challenges has always worked out great in the past!

Rodney's reaction was priceless; hard to believe his brilliant strategy didn't work out.
Not sure if Mike has the social skills to go deep into the game but he seems to have a far better grasp of the game then the initial edit he was given early on.

Several people have won the game who threw challenges and last season Josh or Reed might have won if they would have thrown a challenge after the shuffle to get rid of Jeremy or Natalie to save Dale a guranteed vote on their side.

I wonder what if anything Joe had to promise post merge to survive last night.

The only way I could ever approve of a team throwing a challenge would be if the other team was also trying to throw the same challenge. Imagine the entertainment.

I still like the chances of one of the No Collar or White Collar members winning. Jenn and Tyler got a real good shot. Especially if they are smart enough to team up during the next episode.

Maybe you need to rewatch that episode.
As for Joe, a secret scene on YouTube shows he must give Dan nightly full body massages, complete with coconut oil.

They would seem to now have numbers post merge if Joe isn't beholden to Mike and the gang.

Who and why?
I noticed they seem to have become multi-colored in a couple scenes. In the front it seemed like maybe a landing strip was showing through, and in the back...
But then later everything seemed back to one color normal. Anyway, she should just go nude more often like that other wacko.

Just not enough coffee this morning. Got my dumb bearded dudes mixed up.
But now that the coffee has kicked in... I did enjoy his reactions at tribal. I'm sure there is a bunch of memes out there this morning using stills from that episode.

And previews are showing Rodney whining and complaining about how Mike and Dan went behind his back ... when he was plotting all along with Joaquin and Tyler behind their backs.
For that memory challenge, I like the twist how the first person could pull the curtain down on the second (though it makes it harder to play along). Despite a mental challenge appearing to be the producers way of making things fair for the weak tribe, they still needed an epic dive by Mike to win. I wonder if anyone suspected he threw the challenge, since it seemed really obvious from the aired footage.
A spoiler for next week (if you watched the preview):

Rodney included Mike and Dan in his plans. He wasn't plotting behind their back, at least not about what would be happening at the next tribal council.
