Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family) -- Season 5 Thread -- 6/10/14

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ps87141508.jpg

Moments after where the season four finale left off, Aria and the Liars are reeling from Ezra's shooting at the hands of "A." The five girls quickly realize that as the one person who truly knows A's identity, Ezra is in grave danger. While Aria stands watch over Ezra at the hospital, Alison and the PLLs lay a trap to finally flush out "A" but are shocked by who is ensnared.

Meanwhile, Holbrook steps up his efforts to find the girls and puts the Hastings family on alert. And as news of Alison's resurrection spreads, Mona is not pleased.

24 episode 5th season

Tyler Blackburn (Caleb) is back as a regular after his trainwreck show Ravenswood got cancelled.

 Can't wait. My summers aren't complete without the girls of Rosewood.

Renewed today for 2 more seasons (6 and 7)

I'm betting that season 7 will be the final season.

Ok, that just blew my mind. That can't be the end of A.

Some twist will probably out in the next few episodes. I thought it was an average season premiere.

Decent premiere. Didn't really care about the death of Shana as she made no impression on me. Yeah she shot Ezra, but she IMO wasn't important enough. I doubt this is the end of the A arc. I think there is still more to it.

I was a little confused on who was boarding that plane as Vivian Darkbloom, which I know is Alison's alias. It looked like her, but she's with the girls. Or was it CeCe?

I think Ezra still has more that he isn't saying.

Mona seems to have some agenda against Alison.

It was Cece boarding the plane I think.

Pretty Little Liars (S5E02) -- "Whirly Girlie" -- 6/17/14

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ps999d8208.png

With the events of New York behind them and back in Rosewood, the Liars are unsettled to still be living under a cloud of secrets. Aria is haunted by the recent past events, while Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to wrap their head around the new normal. Alison, on the other hand, is still sleeping with one eye open as she is forced to stay at home with her family - who she doesn't trust.

Meanwhile, Jason's odd behavior and Kenneth DiLaurentis' search for Jessica starts to raise eyebrows about her disappearance.

I liked this episode better than last week's. I figured out about what that dog was going to do.

Great episode. So Mona is going to be the bully now.

They finally did a promo where Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson were not the centerpieces.

Wow, guess they are starting up a new mystery now. Who killed Alison's Mom. Plus, Mona has it out for Alison.

Did anyone find Aria extremely irritating this episode? I did like the Fiddler on the Roof line.

 at Hannah blurting out she needs to change her underwear. She gets the best random one-liners.

Hanna is comedy girl for the show. I like Mona as a character, but she is starting to get annoying and I predict that her possible revenge plan on Alison will end up backfiring on her.

Aria had the crazy eyes thing going this entire episode. Did she get new contacts or something?

Yes, Hanna underwear line was golden. And yes Aria had crazy eyes. Noticed it too.

Aria is the most boring character on the show and I, too noticed the crazy eyes. I've also noticed that when people can't act they seem to resort to stretching their eyes as their 'go to' move when expressing almost any type of emotion.

Spencer needs to be the central focus, followed by Hanna. They have good plot lines, are entertaining to watch and Spencer can act. Hope Alison brings some interesting intrigue. I'm afraid that Emily will be reduced to moping around after Alison.

I thought this was a filler episode for the most part. I'm calling it now, the new girl on the swim team is up to something.

Re: Pretty Little Liars (S5E03) -- "Surfing the Aftershocks" -- 6/24/14

Filler episode. Nothing really happened.

I thought Hanna was over that phase when she was fat and self conscious about herself. Kind of odd they brought that issue back. And what was the deal with Mona and mystery girl?

Sounds like a perfect time to bring back Caleb.

Aria having constant guilt over killing Shauna is going to get old fast.

Refresh my memory, why did Paige and Emily break up? Seems like Em is being really bitchy to her every time they see each other.

Pretty Little Liars (S5E04) -- "Thrown from the Ride" -- 7/01/14

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...ps2962143b.jpg

The girls continue to feel the pressure at school and from Ali, as Mona makes plans for Ali's return to Rosewood High in "Thrown from the Ride," an all-new episode of ABC Family's hit original series "Pretty Little Liars," premiering Tuesday, July 1st (8:00 - 9:00 PM ET/PT).

With Ali now back in Rosewood, she attempts to regain the role of leader of the group, but she finds her four friends are not as willing to blindly follow her every whim as they once were. Besides feeling the pressure from Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are also feeling under the microscope at school with the high school focusing their attention on the Liars. While most kids are morbidly curious about what happened to Ali, some are more focused on planning for Ali's return to school.

Meanwhile, Aria's depression continues to spiral, and she looks for comfort from an unlikely source.

All I could think of during this show is Emily, Paige and the new girl in a threesome.
