It looks great. But does anybody else find the sound to be horrible? I've played it on both my Apple TV and my Roku, and it sounds practically mono.. at a super-low volume.

That's the same reaction I have whenever I read one of Solid Snake's posts.

For those like me who don't have a streaming device with the Yahoo app, I stream it to my Android phone and send it to my tv via hdmi cable. It works great.

well after not getting it to work well on Firefox I tried Chrome and after the first commercial break it just froze and wouldnt do anything else. Hoping to find a way to watch this sometime soon.

Anyone know if closed-captions are available on the Yahoo Screen App, and if so, how to turn them on? Sometimes I get more of the jokes by reading them. Watching through an iPad or a Roku. I enjoyed the first episode, haven't seen #2 yet.

On my Tivo, it was 16:9 and VERY sharp, also the sound was good. But I couldn't find any keys to even view the settings more less change them. For me, it was "luck of the draw" but OK.

Still not available in Canada, which is a pain, but I enjoyed both episodes, although not as much as others seemed to have.

I thought the 1st episode was decent. It did feel like a re-set of some sorts. I liked the Shirley cameo at the end with Steven Weber. Jesus, how many shows has he done in the last 12 months or so?

But dang, the interface for Yahoo screen sucks. Plus, it took me 3-4 times on my Roku before I could get the 1st episode to play. it did however play with no commercials.

Nice to see Paget Brewster. I read that she's going to be on every episode. Kind of weird that she was previously on the show and is playing a different character this time around.

I think the humor is still there with this new iteration of the show, but the flow of the show feels off.

Like, they linger on the jokes a few seconds longer than they really should.

Episode three of this season wasn't as solid as the first two episodes, but still have some very funny stuff. Bit with the Japanese teens messing with the dean was classic.

I'm assuming that the final scene in each episode (steven weber, portuguese gremlins, japanese father yelling at his texting teen) would be cut for syndication, but would that be enough? or would they have to find some other cuts to trim to a proper episode length? (or would they do what tbs does to seinfeld and slightly speed the episodes up)?

Yes. When watching on my Xbox 360 with a 5.1 setup, I get audio playing out of only the front-L and front-R speakers.

When I change the console's audio setting to digital stereo, and put my audio receiver in Dolby Pro Logic II mode, the audio decodes entirely to the center channel -- proof that it is completely mono.

Also, I hate how the app starts autoplaying everything, and you can only make it full screen after you've already watched a few seconds in a small window. Who designed this thing?
