I guess you'd have to watch British shows to know him: Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, Snuff Box, Toast of London. I'm a big fan and when he walked into the classroom I almost fell off the couch (which rarely happens when I'm sober!)

Thank you. I was having trouble placing him.

The Sting is one my favorite movies. I loved that they did a parody of it. but like all episodes this season, it feels that if they took the same premise but had the full original cast, it would have been much better.
I did get a kick of their constant use of "grift"
You must have seen his cameo on Big Bang Theory.

So why did Yvette Nicole Brown leave again? She said it was to take care of her dad, but I see her on that terrible Odd Couple rehash.

Sheesh. People think doing two jobs is as easy as Day One: Job One, Day Two: Job Two, Day Three: Job One, Day Four: Job Two, etc.
When it is actually this nightmare scenario that happens more than it should: Day One: Job One then Job Two, Day Two: Job One then Job Two, Day Three: Job One then Job Two back to Job One. Day Four: Job Two Then Job One then Job Two with Overtime, etc.
Imagine doing two full time gigs in Hollywood: ADR and pick up shots don't wait for your schedule to align perfectly. You might end up doing things haphazardly or in the case of Arrested Development's fourth season production where schedules were hard to work out: green screens, stand ins, and costly VFX just to make it happen.
I don't miss Shirley, Troy, or Pierce as much as some of you and I really like this show but it's a show about a college... people have to move on. I can accept the fact that they won't come back but some of us have to also stop being Abed and be Jeff.

I don't miss Shirley that much. There has definitely been something off with most of the eps this season, but I don't think it's the missing cast.

Didn't enjoy this episode much. It's like their already Britta-fying Frankie. She went from being the non nonsense adult to jumping up and down chanting about hot dogs.

This was the first episode this season I would consider a miss. There were a few funny bits, but not enough Dean for my tastes. And for a show that loves it's crazy premises, this one just wasn't funny.

I don't miss Shirley at all. She was an annoying waste of a character. I enjoyed it. Loved the premise of the episode.

Ken Jeong's pilot got picked up by ABC. I think this is the end of Community.

That said, it's time. The show is still a relatively enjoyable way to spend 30 minutes, but for all intents and purposes it's just coasting along at this point. It really hurts for me to say that because at one point I might have called this my favorite show of all time.

Agreed. It's definitely lost something and that happens when you get this deep into a shows run. If it ends here, I'd be ok with it. I said the same thing after season 5 and I would have been happy then too. If we get another season, of course I'll watch since it's still enjoyable.
Best thing they can do is end it here, wait a year or two and make a movie. They should be able to bring back everyone for a movie pretty easily. Waiting a year will allow Harmon and his crew to knock it out of the park with a good script.
Theatrical release would be silly but if they put up a Kickstarter like Veronica Mars, I'd definitely put some money in.

All we need is a send off movie. Not another season.

For me even not so great Community is better than 90 percent of the crap out there today. I'd happily watch more seasons. I hope the finale is great.

Re: Community (Yahoo Screen) - Season 6 Discussion Thread - premieres 3/17/15
This season started off really, really rough. I really didn't find an episode good until halfway into the season. I loved the crappy space movie episode (but I like the "intentionally awful" parody stuff).
The writing has been hit & miss, the wit from the earlier seasons isn't really there, and they've been pretty Britta heavy this season. I like Britta, but they really don't know how to write for her. It's like they loaded up on her "being Britta", but forget to give her heart or redeeming qualities to balance it out.
This really would have been a good episode done around Season 2, not season 6. I can't understand how Jeff could simply screw up the grift when they did almost the same kind of fake out in Season 3 (First Chang Dynasty).
