The Big Bang Theory (S8E18) - "The Leftover Thermalization" - 3/12/15

WHEN A MAGAZINE INCORRECTLY CREDITS SHELDON AS THE LEAD SCIENTIST OF THE PAPER HE CO-WROTE WITH LEONARD, THINGS GET AWKWARD, ON "THE BIG BANG THEORY," THURSDAY, MARCH 12

"The Leftover Thermalization" - Friction ensues when a magazine fails to mention Leonard in an article about the paper he co-wrote with Sheldon. Also, a blackout at Mrs. Wolowitz's home leads to a final family dinner in her honor, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, March 12 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

Looks like I was premature in praising the writers for not going down the tired sitcom cliche road of having Leonard and Sheldon fighting for credit over the paper.

They already did the same storyline several seasons ago anyway.

I was disappointed by this. You'd think that after 184 episodes they could still keep the show fresh and not have to rehash storylines.

i think only once before i've ever thought of any of them as being a real asshole (Raj when amy was helping him get a date with emily).

but damn did sheldon and leonard crank up the a-holery with the petty argument during a dinner that was supposed to be about their friend's deceased mother

requisite:

-the fck with penny's hair?
-bernie is the best!

*edit*

In addition, i just recently saw again the one when they were all on the science panel thing (the one with rick fox / bernie's ex). THAT'S how you do funny petty arguments.

Yea I'm usually one of the show's defenders but that Sheldon/Leonard fight by the dinner table was totally not necessary and just plain unfunny.

While I didn't care for the fight at dinner, the result of it was funny to me with Howard finally mentioning that Bernie sounds like his mom. I also actually liked some of the argument Sheldon/Leonard had about it.
