Loved that ending. I never saw it coming. Was that an original song that Phil sang?

Loved the finale and loved the season. One of my favorites of the year thus far to be honest. And any show that includes 2 songs by The Kinks is aces in my book ("Apeman" in the pilot and "Supersonic Rocket Ship in the finale).

Can't wait for this to return

Really enjoyed this season. Forte was just perfect for this role - you go from hating him to having sympathy for him multiple times in a single episode.

This is by far my favorite new show. The "twist" at the end was great!

Just finished up. Honestly... the second I saw the 2 new women, I would've gotten in the car with them and just started driving to a new location. Screw everyone else.

Scenes that don't include Phil suggest that the other characters aren't figments of Phil's imagination.

"It was all a dream" is the laziest (and lamest) way to end a story, ever, so hopefully they don't go that route.

There are a couple exceptions (Mulholland Drive comes to mind, but that did it brilliantly) but generally it's a scape goat. If this had something that brilliant I'd be good with it, but I don't see how.

Ok I didn't think about that. But imagining a network tv finale, it's not pretty.

...technically MD was two pilot episodes and a finale

Yeah I don't see it working, especially for a plot driven Sitcom.

St. Elsewhere did it brilliantly.

The only reason I mentioned Phil being dead or imagining this is the title of the show doesn't make sense unless Phil just thought he was the last man.

I think it's a play on "I wouldn't sleep with you if you were the last man on Earth." and it expands from there.

He did think he was the last man, we already know that from the first episode. Now we know he isn't.
