I cannot stand selfies, so it was nice to see a team miss their train while taking one. Sure, it was only a 16 minute miss, but still nice to see. Who knows maybe it did cost them in the end.

The blind date couples are so far doing much better than than dating couples. I wouldn't mind being Laura's blind date teammate. She reminds me of Amy Adams.

I forgot to add that the sleeping accommodations at the first pit stop were awful. I wouldn't have slept at all.

So maybe the selfie cam wasn't such a bad idea after all?
There was 2 hours and 50 minutes separating the first team departure and the last. So all those attempts at the dancing must have gone by pretty quickly.

I hope they don't do this selfie and video crap in future seasons. Distracting and stupid.

One of the players made a good point about how the blind date couples are still filtering their comments toward one another... we've all seen how long time couples blow up at each other, and I'm sure that increases the stress level and affects performance.

Jackie reminds me of RC from Survivor Philippines with her constant giggling. I hope that team goes home soon.

at CJ and Lebya missing their train because they were so focused on taking their selfie video.
That noodle challenge was just ridiculous. I mean really? Eating noodles with a fan blowing in your face.
Pleasantly surprised to see the blind dates doing so well. Jenny and Jelani seem more like friend material than a potential couple.

I wish the show had everyone be "blind date" couples instead of half-and-half. Though the way things are going, we'll be getting pretty close to it (the truck stop couple are struggling, and it wouldn't be surprising to see them go next).
Like Survivor with their "collar" theme, the host is coming on really strong with pestering the players about their love connection progress. But I like the responses the players are giving: winning the money is the priority, and doing the Race is a better way to make friends than fall in love.

The noodle challenge was probably set up to shake the blind date couples, it gotta be weird to have a stranger feed you. The fan thing also ensured a bit of tension with the stickier broth being blown onto your face.

The lawyers are on a strictly friends track and just focused on the business at hand. Occupational hazard?
Not gonna say that Japanese noodles/ramen are universally loved, but unless a person simply despise most Asian/Japanese cooking and those flavors, I don't see how they can claim that the ramen/broth served in this challenge to be disgusting or uneatable.
As best as I could tell that was a high end ramen house that served quality made noodles and soup. Most ramen broth are made from pork bones into a nice, aromatic soup base, then seasoned with salt, soy sauce or miso. The noodles are cooked Al-dente in separate boiling water and promptly added to the broth and served, as overcooked noodles don't taste as good. Anyway eating noodles beats eating insects, animal organs, snakes, or raw meat any day of the week.
