Gay males don't even make up 30-40% of the male characters in gay pornography!

They crowbarred gay themes and relationships into:

Penny Dreadful
The Wire
The Sopranos
Mad Men
House of Cards
Orange is the Black(actually its the entire premise)
Deadwood
Game of Thrones
Boardwalk Empire

Etc

All great shows by the way

Too many gay male characters to count in Orange is the New Black!

I never quite got the point of the Rawls gay subplot in The Wire. It's one of the few things on the show which it didn't really seem to pay off. With Greggs, I just sort of got on board with it because they introduced her character that way, but with Rawls, it was revealed at some point and then basically ignored going forward. I wonder if they were going to do something with it and then changed their minds? With Omar, it was primarily a plot device to get him to testify in a certain subplot.
