Great episode. I never found Mary Steenburgen scary until she starred on Justified.

Any chance of a buddy criminal spinoff show with Boyd and Wynn?
Call it "Because of Wynn Duffy" or "This Boyd's Life"

Dickey finding out he sold his land to Loretta.
The show is still great for the dialogue alone and as usual there was some funny shit, but was a bit unimpressed with the storyline in this episode. So all this was to buy up land to grow legalized marijuana? A bit of a letdown.
The scene with Sam Elliot was great and a nice nod to the Apple Pie. He and Dillahunt have been great casts for this season

I still this this is the best season as it is the first that has villains that bring some fear and intensity without the cartoonish aspects.
One point I don't get is the threat of the wittle guard by Hale. I thought Boyd tortured and threatened him to recant his testimony? Did Boyd stop after he said he loved her? I can't remember.

I enjoyed the episode tremendously, but the winner of it all was the following exchange:
Wiz: "Would you guys like a Negroni?"
Boyd: "I don't know what that is."
Wynn: "It's Italian. It tastes like grapefruit."
Boyd: "I don't want one."
Wiz: "Missin' out."
Especially the way Boyd delivers the "I don't want one." line. Just shows why the dialogue in this series has always been so epic. Between obscure hilarity and nuanced delivery, it's just always been the tops.
