Yep. Liked to have heard the discussion when the writer(s) submitted the scene.

I thought what's-his-name was going to hurl.

Yeah, Folding up Annelise was horrific and stomach-turning.

I may have been dropping off towards the end. What happened in the bar after Phillip went near the CIA meeting and snapped some pictures? I don't have a clear memory of the episode after that except that it seemed to end really suddenly and anticlimactically.

 at the Kornheiser cameo. Been waiting to see it - he's talked a lot about it on his radio show since it was filmed in the fall.

I could not watch that suitcase 'disposal' scene. Just closed my eyes during it. Ugh.

Wonder what they are going to do with Nina.

I missed Kornheiser. Where was he? On the TV right? I remember seeing someone on the TV set in the episode and thinking he was familiar.

He was sitting at the bar in the bar scene when he photographs the CIA guys, and then you hear him shout "What a shot! Oh!!" in the background when the boxer got knocked out on the television.

I read in the WP today that they wanted to use the infamous Mancini/Duk-Koo Kim fight on the TV, but they couldn't get the rights to it, so they used its undercard fight for it.

Watched last night. I don't think I've ever been as physically revolted by anything I've seen on television. And as brutal as the visuals were, the sound effects were even worse.

The Hannibal season 2 premier was worse IMO.

From a technical standpoint I was pretty impressed by that scene... it seemed very realistic (not that I'd know, I guess). But yeah, I still cringed the whole time.

Is the 'Belgian girl' a plant? Or would that be too obvious?

That suitcase scene was the most disturbing thing I have ever seen on television. I watch this show in spite of its thematic darkness. If it wasn't one of the best-written shows on television, I would have dropped it already. It's far harder to keep up with this couple's detached professionalism for their cold-blooded jobs than the serial killers that fill other shows.

Being a plant was the first thing that came to mind to me.

Just watched the episode. I told my wife: "It's great that you are short, so I wouldn't have too much trouble making you fit". :)

Apparently the third episode is really great.

This is really one of the best shows on TV. Riveting. Very well acted. Good stories. FX is doing alot of the right things.

An obvious plant looking to gain Nina's trust.

We are behind on the season already.

As I think everybody in this thread already said, that suitcase scene was probably one of the worse things I've seen on TV. Sure there is first - Game of Thrones - nut that was just bone chilling. I find it interesting somebody saying they had to cover their eyes. My hands were busy covering my ears. I simply closed my eyes.

I was even more creeped out when I found out the show hired an actual contortionist for that suitcase scene.
