Aya Cash ("You're the Worst") Guest Stars, and Adam DeVine ("Pitch Perfect," "Workaholics") Returns

"Rash Decisions" - Phil is starting to feel the teenage cold shoulder from Luke, and with Andy hanging around a lot recently as his apprentice, he easily steps in as his new right hand man. Meanwhile, Gloria and the doctors suspect that Joe might be allergic to Stella which leaves Jay in a very tough predicament, and Mitchell is doing some freelance legal work at Jay's closet company and working with Claire becomes a very enlightening experience for the both of them, on "Modern Family," WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Once again Phil & Luke were awesome. Always love to seem them interact with each other. Lucy needs to be a regular role on the show.

It was enjoyable but most of the storylines felt underdeveloped. For instance, the Alex storyline went nowhere.

Yeah, it didn't even have a punch-line or resolution. What a waste of the amazing Aya Cash.

Holy crap, I actually forgot about the Alex "storyline". It dead-ended about half-way through the episode and that's the last you saw of Alex. It's good that they're continuing to bring in college storylines for Alex because it's a big deal for the character - but it should probably take more than 2-3 minutes of the show and actually have a conclusion.

Getting sick of the jokes revolving around Jay loving his dog way too much.

On the subject of Jay, what was the deal with Ed O'Neill's hand? He had this little tiny bandaid on his right hand one scene and then a large one the next. Did the actor have a recent stay at a hospital?

I thought the Alex storyline ended fine. She was annoyed by her sister's suggestion and story but they ultimately helped by giving her something else to say in the interview. It was a 'B' story. There are a lot of characters to spread out over 21 minutes.

Except there was no follow-up after she called the interviewer a slut. It just ended abruptly.

Phil's story was pretty good, but didn't like the rest.

I loved how Hailey kept insulting Alex, smiling all the way. Luke was actually good in this episode, but I'm tiring of Manny.

Another "meh" episode for me. I feel like I watch this out of obligation these days than for actual entertainment. It's 'watchable', but not laugh-outloud-funny like it used to be.

In five years the only new jokes they've added is Jay and the Dog and Lilly's ability to deliver a punch line now. Other than that it's the same situations and the same jokes over and over again. I'm pretty tired of it actually.

I still enjoy Phil, I suppose but the rest have become pretty tiresome.

I only watch for Sofia's luscious milk jugs.

Speaking of jokes that have been literally milked to death....

Yeah, but how about those jugs on the Asian office chick.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that O'Neill cut his hand and that they shoot scenes out of order and over the course of many days.

The story ended on the final, big comedic note of the interaction. I know that we don't know what happened, but so what? Alex isn't going to Princeton.

I really enjoyed this episode. Cam's expressions while Mitch was listing off the things he does around the office were hilarious. And Lilly and Larry were great too.

The biggest laugh I've gotten from the show (recently) was Jay's "put those Zeppelins in a hangar" line.

I really liked the "put a tarp over those bounce houses" line.

I agree with most but I still don't think Lilly can deliver a punch line. Better than it was but the bar was set pretty low.

In one scene, Joe was just staring at them for quite a while.

I just caught up with this episode on repeat last week. If you like her, she was on a <strike>Skin</strike>Cinemax show called The Girl's Guide to Depravity. The zeppelins are out of the hangar...
