CASTLE TAKES ON A ROUTINE P.I. CASE, BUT THE INVESTIGATION TURNS DEADLY WHEN HE WITNESSES A MURDER, ON ABC'S "CASTLE"

"I, Witness" - Castle is hired to uncover if a client's husband is having an affair, but the case takes a shocking turn when Castle witnesses the client's murder - by her husband. But with no proof that the killing took place, Castle and Beckett must investigate to expose the truth, on "Castle," MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

 Really enjoyed this episode. Probably the best of this Castle PI arc. But, I have a feeling this arc is winding down now. It had a very Hitchcock type vibe. The twist was kind of surprising.

Looks like we're back to a "darker" Castle next time with the 3XK killer arc being revisited.

I called the "murder" being staged the moment Castle witnessed it, but my wife called out the lawyer as the murderer.

We'll see how much longer the PI arc goes on. The standard resolution would be that one of Castle's PI cases wins his way back into the good graces of the NYPD.

I liked the Hitchcock vibe, but I felt he would have dialed Beckett or 911 way before he did. Then the whole "no service" felt contrived.
